Mapagpalang Araw, mga Kabataan!
As the biennium 2024-2026 has come to an end, we would like to give our sincerest appreciation to the outgoing UMYF SPD District Officers and Praise and Worship Team for their invaluable sacrifices and commitment to leading the SPD Youth. Behind every vibrant youth activity, every memorable fellowship night, and every impactful institute, they are the dedicated team of youth leaders that are always working tirelessly behind the scenes.
To the dedicated District Officers of the biennium 24-26:
Adrian, Joshua, Leah, Raven, Bless, Sofia, Jaja, Brent, France, Rhamses, Kirby, Cherry, Estiven, Geralin, and Christian.
We see the quiet sacrifices you make. We see you choosing to serve even when youโre tired. We see the love you pour into every single teenager who walks through our doors, ensuring no one feels left out.
You are planting seeds of faith in the hearts of the youth that will grow for years to come. Never underestimate the impact of your "yes" to God.
Thank you for sacrificing your free time, weekends, and energy to serve God and for leading the youth by example, lifting others up in prayer, and cultivating a welcoming space where everyone feels seen and loved and for constantly bringing fresh, exciting ideas to life to keep our youth community growing and thriving.
Being a youth leader isn't always easy, but you all handle it with so much grace, humor, and heart. Thank you for your obedience to God's call, for your resilience when things get stressful, and for shaping the next generation. We are so, so proud of you!
"Donโt let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." โ 1 Timothy 4:12
To the talented Praise and Worship Team of UMYF SPD:
Thank you for your consistency, your passion, and your servant hearts. You carry a unique responsibility to lead your peers into worship, and you do it with so much humility and grace. Week after week, you guys bring the energy, the talent, and most importantly, the heart to our youth services, and we love watching you use the talents God gave you to point everyone back to Him. Our youth activities wouldn't be the same without your sound and your spirit.
It takes a lot of courage to stand on a stage and lead people in worship, especially among your peers. Thank you for choosing to be vulnerable, for setting distractions aside, and for creating a space where the youth can encounter God through music.
We see the sacrifices you make; giving up your weekends for rehearsals and staying late to pack up cables and gear. But more than your technical skill, we thank you for your spiritual leadership. Thank you for worshiping from a place of genuine love for Jesus, because that is what truly inspires the rest of us.
"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." โ 1 Corinthians 15:58
Lagiโt lagi, Si Kristo higit sa Lahat.
