Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Andres- Masinloc, Zambales The church was named a national cultural treasure in 2001. The building was founded by Augustinian Recollects in the 18th century.

It is one of the oldest churches in the province and dated back 400 year. Declared as a Diocesan Shrine last November 2021.

Reflection:
On the feast of Sta. Monica, we are reminded of the power of persistent prayer and unwavering faith. Her tears and prayers for her son, St. Augustine, bore fruit in his conversion and sanctity. Sta. Monica teaches us that no prayer is ever wasted, and no soul is beyond the reach of God’s mercy.

As we sponsor the final day of the novena, may our parish community be inspired by her example — to pray without ceasing, to trust in God’s timing, and to remain steadfast in hope.

“Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

Let us unite in prayer and thanksgiving, asking Sta. Monica to intercede for our families, especially for those who seek healing, reconciliation, and conversion.

Si San Bartolome Apostol ay isa sa Labindalawang Apostol ni Hesukristo, na karaniwang iniuugnay kay Nathanael sa Ebanghelyo ni San Juan. Buong tapang niyang ipinangaral ang Mabuting Balita at nanatiling tapat kay Kristo hanggang sa kanyang kamatayan bilang martir. Ayon sa tradisyon, siya ay pinatay dahil sa kanyang pananampalataya. Ang kanyang buhay ay nagpapaalala sa atin na ang tunay na pagsunod kay Hesus ay nangangailangan ng tapang, katapatan, at matibay na pananampalataya.
