Our hearts and our prayers go out to those who suffered the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit offshore of Sarangani at 7:37AM today, June 8, 2026. It was devastating to watch all the videos taken of the earthquake especially those schools that collapsed due to the massive earthquake.

For many of us, this was a day that started full of hope—the first day of classes for the school year 2026-27. Not long after, in helplessness, many witnessed how structures collapsed. From hope to uncertainty: what now?

I was a boy of 8 in 16th July 2026—while in school in Dagupan— when the 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Luzon. The fear that you felt is not unfamiliar. I assure you, the hope that comes after is even more so! From across the miles, we can offer words of encouragement immediately, and plentiful prayers.

“But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:7-9 NABRE).

In behalf of the Parish Community of St. Joseph the Patriarch in Mapandan, Pangasinan, and the Mapandan Catholic School, Inc., we are one with you our brothers and sisters.

On this Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we honor the Real Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist—the Bread of Life and source of our strength. May this sacred celebration deepen our love for the Eucharist and draw us ever closer to Christ, who remains with us always.

Called by God and ordained to serve His people, our beloved Parish Priest, Fr. Estephen Mark R. Espinoza, marks sixteen years of faithful priestly ministry today. Saint Joseph the Patriarch Parish rejoices and gives glory to the Lord for the gift of his vocation, his unwavering dedication to the Holy Eucharist, and his loving service to the Church.

As we celebrate this special milestone, we entrust him to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. May the Lord continue to bless his ministry with strength, wisdom, and enduring grace.

𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲!

On this Dakilang Kapistahan ng Santisima Trinidad, we lift our hearts in worship to the One God in Three Divine Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

In the mystery of the Holy Trinity, we are reminded that God is perfect love, eternal communion, and the source of all grace. May this sacred celebration deepen our faith, strengthen our unity as one Church, and lead us ever closer to the holiness to which we are called.

IN PHOTOS | PENTECOST SUNDAY

With hearts full of faith and thanksgiving, we celebrate Pentecost Sunday — the sacred moment when the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles and the Holy Catholic Church was born. Empowered by the Spirit, the disciples were filled with wisdom, courage, and zeal to share the Good News of Christ with the world.

As one faithful family of Saint Joseph the Patriarch Parish, may we open our hearts to the presence of the Holy Spirit, allowing His love and guidance to renew and strengthen us in our journey of faith. May this blessed celebration inspire us to live in unity, peace, and service as true followers of Christ.

Come, Holy Spirit, renew the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love.
