8 months ago we shipped a huge box weighing 150lbs from Texas to Manila!! It had over Β£1,000 worth of beautiful clothes, toys, toiletries and gifts for our families in Tondo. We were told it would take 3 months to deliver! But here we are 8 months later and it just arrived!!! It felt like a long wait, it felt like it was never going to get there, we felt like it was a risk and maybe we had lost it all. But God is faithful and always right on time!! This Saturday we have our Mercy Missions International Christmas party and now 120 children (and more!!) Will have a Christmas gift 🎁 πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸŽ‰πŸ₯°β€πŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸ‡΅πŸ‡
We are soooo excited!!! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸŽ‰πŸŽπŸŽ„πŸŽ…

Friends, If you are in a season of waiting, hang in there... your miracle is just around the corner!!! God sees you and He's with you 😘😘

Hey friends!!

We may have been quiet on here recently [we've been trying to protect our staff and the families we minister to], but the ministry in Tondo is THRIVING!! πŸ™πŸΌβ€οΈπŸ‡΅πŸ‡ God is so good and has continued to provide us with the resources to feed over 100 children a week, as well as running a wonderful kids programme for them. We hope this little video fills your day with joy and hope.

Please keep praying for our amazing Filipino staff and volunteers, and for all the families in Tondo. We don't feel to shout about all the things we are doing, but we do want to shout about the goodness and faithfulness of God. He really is taking care of His children in miraculous ways. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ‡΅πŸ‡β€οΈ

Feel free to join our private group on Instagram if you want more updates, or message us on here to find out more. We are so grateful for your love and prayers β€οΈβ€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

10 years ago we went to KCM church in Tondo for the first time. It was monsoon season and the building was flooded. We had to wade through water almost knee deep to get there. I'll never forget the joy and extravagant worship we experienced in that place on that day! The presence of God was so tangible that it felt like we were literally lifted above the flood and into His Glory. There was no pandemic at that time and no restrictions, so this church was bursting with people of all ages. Jumping, clapping, worshipping King Jesus. It was awesome!

Right now there are floods in Tondo, but church still happens, Jesus is still worthy of it all and worthy of all our praise. We are so inspired by our pinoy family and friends who continue to love, serve and trust Jesus in the middle of the crazy.

Please pray for our friends and family at KCM, Tondo as they navigate through another storm. Pray for miracles and that Jesus would be glorified in them and through them.

Will you worship Jesus today? Will you lift your eyes above the storm and allow His Glory to be revealed to you? He is right there waiting for you β€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Ice cream... 🍦🍦🍦.. Its so refreshing on a hot and humid day... It allows you to stop, to breathe, to rest, to enjoy, to inhale deeply, and for a moment forget about the stresses of the day πŸ˜‹πŸ˜

As the summer temperatures soar in the UK, most people will just buy an ice cream without thinking about it, there's nothing wrong with that and it's for sure a blessing. But for our community in Tondo, there's only 2 seasons - hot and hotter - and ice cream is only a dream for most children.

Today, we were able to bless a whole community of children with ice creams. And, the ice cream vendor had an extremely blessed day and was introduced to Jesus! πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ˜ So grateful for our friend in the UK who just wanted to 'give ice-creams and put a smile on their faces'. 😍😍

We are reminded again that we have a Good, GOOD Father who loves His children. He brings refreshing to the dry and thirsty places. His love washes over the broken ones like a waterfall, bringing rest and refreshing. His joy bursts forth from those who have experienced it, as they share it with others.

Love looks like something. Today it looked like the gift of an ice cream. We are so happy that these children got to have a moment of refreshing today, in the midst of the craziness, the trauma, the heat, the struggle, they know they are seen and loved. What a beautiful thing.

We are facing the harsh reality that the violence and simmering threat of violence won’t end any time soon. While we stand in faith knowing the God of miracles could intervene, our position is as the three men in the fiery furnace β€” we know God is able to save, but even if He does not, we won’t bow to the evil around us.

We must carry on in the face of this brutality because of beautiful people like Diamon & Vitoria. Without warning vicious insurgents attacked their village in northern Mozambique. Vitoria was already holding their baby, Diamon grabbed their toddler, and their four older children ran with them toward to bush for safety. In the chaos the family was separated and with their home burned they had no choice but to sleep in the bush with no food or water. For days, Diamon and Vitoria searched for their children β€” they tried everything and asked everyone. Eventually, they sold their only possession, a cellphone, to pay for a ride to Pemba.

We met them at a camp for people displaced by the violence and still they hadn’t gotten news from home or about their children. The trauma and heartache was unbearable. Our team members listened to their story and wept with them β€” we cried out for a miracle in Jesus’ name!

Love looks like something and for Diamon & Vitoria love looked like a cellphone. We bought them a new phone so they could keep up the search for their four missing children. Miraculously β€” prayer works! β€”they located their children who had been rescued from the bush after that terrible attack and brought to a nearby village. They were all safely reunited and the overwhelming relief and joy was shared by all.

This is why we must keep going; this is why we stop for the ones in need.

The Christian life is not about making sure that you are fulfilling your calling and that all the words spoken over you will happen. Do you know how many people have been "called to the nations" and told they will be "world changers?" Go lower still and get closer to Jesus. Nobody ever became powerful, anointed influencers by trying to be. Not Joseph, not Moses, not David, not Daniel, not anybody. And we've never had revival because we figured out how to have one, or keep one going. But I'm not after revival. I'm after the One who revives...

We love our friend Ruel, he is such an inspiration to us, living, loving and serving the people in his community, along with a wonderful team. So thankful for them all. About 2 years ago, Ruel shared part of his story with us, our hearts wept and rejoiced all at once. God is so good and He can literally turn any life around, no matter how broken, for His Glory. Please pray for Ruel, his family and team in Tondo as they continue to live and preach the gospel β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸ‡΅πŸ‡
