LET'S TALK LENT 2026:

*But my sin was this that l looked for pleasure , beauty , and truth not in Him but in myself and* *his other creatures , and the search led me instead to pain , confusion , and error*
* ---- St Augustine*

During this lenten period ask yourself , are you listening ?
Did you pay attention to what ?
Do you follow the dictates of your heart desires

*Let us , then always offer praise to God as our sacrifice through Jesus , which is the offering ** *presented by lips that confess him as Lord*
--- *Hebrew 13 : 15**

May the Lord accept all your sacrifices and praises in this season and prosper your hand work

SOMETHING PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND:

Resurrection Power.

1.Things can’t stay the same. At some point you just have to let go and move on. Because no matter how painful it is, it’s the only way we grow.

2.Don't play games with someones feelings. Be straightforward about how you feel.

3.Don't be afraid to tell people you love that you love them. Action speaks louder than words is a little outdated. Sometimes, action is sweeter along with words.

4.When you want to change your life, but don't know where to start, start with prayer and everything follows.

5.Soft hearted people are not fools.

6.Don't make your life revolve around with someone.

7.Don't push yourself to someone. If you did already everything you could but nothing has changed, have the courage to walk away.

8.Don't put anyone on a pedestal either, sooner or later, they'll get tired of you, and soon will also get rid of you.

9.Sometimes, you can't have it all.

10.Never go back in time. Past is past. Move forward.
Give more than you think you should.

11.It is impossible to live without quarrels, in the same way as to go through all city only on green light.

12.If the crowd goes one way, try sometimes to walk in the opposite way to make a difference. You might never know what good things awaits.

13.Money can't buy health. It can only prolong your life but not totally can get your body back to as it was before.

14.An apology doesn't mean you're wrong, and the other person is right. It just means that the value of your relationship is more important than your own ego. Swallow your pride sometimes. It'll make a huge difference.

15.Be careful who you trust! Salt and Sugar are both white!

16.Sometimes, you have to play the role of a fool to fool the fools who think they are fooling you!

17.Sometimes, we cannot choose who we fall for. It just happen.

18.No matter how strong of a person you are, love at some point can make you weak, vulnerable and a total different person.

19.Too much of everything becomes a poison.

Bonus 1: Become a better person every day.

Bonus 2: No matter how long the night, the day is sure to come!

Bonus 3: It requires wisdom to understand wisdom.

Bonus 4: Everybody has bad days.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE

"Through fasting and prayer, one stop war, one can suspend the laws of Nature. " Our Lady of Medjugorje July 21 1982

Most holy and immaculate Virgin, Mother of Jesus and our loving Mother, being his Mother, you shared in his universal kingship. The prophets and angels proclaimed him King of peace. With loving fervor in our hearts we salute and honor you as Queen of peace.
We pray that your intercession may protect us and all people from hated and discord, and direct our hearts into the ways of peace and justice which your Son taught and exemplified. We ask your maternal care for our Holy Father who works to reconcile the nations in peace. We seek your guidance for our President and other leaders as they strive for world peace.

Glorious Queen of peace, grant us peace in our hearts, harmony in our families and concord throughout the world. Immaculate Mother, as patroness of our beloved country, watch over us and protect us with your motherly love. Amen.

We rejoice with thee, O Mary, on account of all thy virtues, but we rejoice especially because of thy mercy, since it is through mercy that thou art for us the Queen of Peace. Truly, thy mercy has obtained the redemption of the world and the salvation of mankind. May our longing souls, therefore, hasten to this salutary source, and may our misery appeal to thine inexhaustible mercy! Amen.

Let us pray.

Hail, thou most sublime Queen of Peace, most holy Mother of God! By the Sacred Heart of Jesus, thy Son, the "Prince of Peace," appease His anger and obtain that He may reign over us in peace.
Remember, O most sweet Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who had recourse to thee was left unaided. Full of confidence I come to thee, Mother of the Word Incarnate; despise not my prayers but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. O clement, O pious, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

An indulgence of 3 years.
A plenary indulgence once a month under the usual conditions
Our Father and Hail Mary (three times)
Our Lady of Peace, pray for us. (three times)

Ninety-five years on, Vatican Radio continues to carry the Gospel, hope, and the voice of the Successor of Peter across every border, leaving no one unheard. The mission began on 12 February 1931, when the first voice to speak through the microphones of the Statio Radiophonica Vaticana was that of the scientist Guglielmo Marconi, who inaugurated the Statio Radiophonica Vaticana at the request of Pope Pius XI, who envisioned technology placed at the service of faith and human connection. For the first time, a pope’s voice was broadcast worldwide, followed by a recording of music by Ludwig van Beethoven—a sign that this was not merely technical progress but a pastoral outreach to hearts. Through wars, totalitarian regimes, reconstruction, and global transformation, the broadcaster has proclaimed Christian hope, aided missing persons during World War II, chronicled the Second Vatican Council, the Jubilees, the challenges of the universal Church, and reported on conflicts from Ukraine to the Middle East, Congo, Myanmar, Yemen, and Syria. Serving nine popes, it has remained a quiet lifeline for many Christian communities worldwide. Today, with staff from 69 nations and broadcasts in 34 languages, Vatican Radio reaches even the world’s peripheries. Its anniversary now coincides with World Radio Day, established by UNESCO, whose 2026 theme— “AI is a tool, not a voice”—echoes the communications vision of Pope Leo. Embracing innovation without losing its human core, the Pope’s Radio remains committed to encounter, responsibility, and service—continuing its mission to share the Gospel and the papal voice with the world.

YOU ARE MY VAL

From generation to generation you will always be my val. You have shown me more love than I can ever imagine. Right from my childhood I noticed your unconditional love. You are the only woman that is full of grace . You have filled my life with same grace through your love for me . You are my val

My beloved parents told me about you, that you are the only lady that loves without condition. They told me you take care of your own without demanding anything from them. Your heart is so pure and immaculate. Your heart is very large enough to accommodate the whole human person . Your love is supreme . You are my val

As I was growing up I noticed and felt this unconditional love and my mother told me that no other woman in the world can offer me such love in my entire life. You are a woman with a heart of gold ,you are a lady with a compassionate heart . You are a woman with supreme virtues. You are my val !

You are my mother ,you are my lady ,you are my love ,you are my sweet Mama Mary . On this Valentine's Day,as people celebrate their respective love of their lives ,I chose to celebrate you because you are the one that has shown me what true love is. You are my val !

I love you Mama Mary and will always love you for eternity. May the love you have for me as your son never cease but rather let this same love lead me to the Father. Whenever my earthly dwelling would cease ,let this unconditional love of yours lead me to see you face to face and live with you in the heavenly dwelling. You are my val !

✝️ WHAT MOST CATHOLICS DON’T KNOW ABOUT CONFESSION 😳🤔
___________________
Many Catholics go to Confession.

Many avoid it.

But very few truly understand what is happening inside that small room.

Confession is not just admitting mistakes.
It is not a spiritual therapy session.
It is not a Catholic tradition created to control people.

It is an encounter with the mercy of Christ.

And most Catholics do not realize how deep it really is.

In John 20:22–23, after the Resurrection, Jesus breathes on the Apostles and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them.”

Notice something important.

He does not tell them to announce forgiveness in general.
He gives them authority to forgive specific sins.

That means confession is not a human invention.
It flows directly from the Resurrection.

The same breath that gave life in Genesis
now gives new life through forgiveness.

Here is what many miss:

When you kneel in Confession, you are not speaking into the air.

You are standing at the foot of the Cross.

The priest is not forgiving you by his own power.
He is acting in the person of Christ.

It is Christ who listens.
Christ who judges.
Christ who absolves.

That is why the words are not “God forgives you.”

The words are: “I absolve you.”

It is personal. Direct. Real.

Another truth many overlook:

Confession does not just erase guilt.
It restores grace.

Mortal sin does not just break a rule.
It wounds relationship.
It damages the soul.

Absolution does not simply cancel a penalty.
It pours divine life back into the soul.

Heaven becomes open again.

And something else happens that we rarely think about:

Shame loses its power.

Sin grows in secrecy.
When spoken aloud in humility, its grip weakens.

The devil wants your sin hidden.
Christ wants it healed.

That is why confession feels hard.

It attacks pride.

But pride is the root of most spiritual problems.

Confession trains the soul in humility.

And humility invites grace.

There is also a mystery many forget:

Every time you confess sincerely, heaven rejoices.

Jesus says there is joy among the angels over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7).

Confession is not depressing to heaven.
It is celebration.

Yet here is the danger.

Some Catholics treat Confession casually.

They repeat the same sins without real effort.
They rush through it.
They prepare poorly.

Confession is not magic.

It requires contrition.
Honesty.
A firm purpose of amendment.

Grace is given.
But cooperation is required.

And here is something beautiful:

No sin shocks God.

The priest has heard worse.
But more importantly, Christ has already carried worse.

The Cross is greater than your past.

The confessional is not a courtroom of condemnation.

It is a clinic of healing.

You do not go because you are holy.
You go because you need to become holy.

So the next time you think about Confession, remember:

You are not entering a small box.

You are stepping into the mercy that flowed from a pierced Heart.

And most Catholics have no idea
how much power is waiting there.

God bless you.

Pope Leo XIV has appointed Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo as the new Apostolic Nuncio to Haiti, transferring him from his previous posting in the Czech Republic. The appointment was announced on Wednesday, February 11, by the Holy See Press Office.

The Apostolic Nunciature in Port-au-Prince has been without a papal representative since January 2024, following the transfer of Archbishop Francisco Gerardo Escalante Molina to Japan.

Appointed a titular Archbishop of Novica, Okolo received his first assignment as Apostolic Nuncio in August 2008 to the Central African Republic and Chad. He has since represented the Holy Father in several countries, including the Dominican Republic and Ireland, and has served as Apostolic Delegate to Puerto Rico. He is proficient in English, Italian, Spanish, German, and French.

In a statement released on February 11, the Apostolic Nunciature in Haiti welcomed his appointment and asked the faithful to support him in prayer.

“Let us together uphold the Representative of the Holy Father in Haiti in our prayers and entrust his mission to the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Patroness of Haiti,” said Mons. Claude Eric Andriamirado, Chargé d’Affaires.

Archbishop Okolo now takes on his new diplomatic mission amid ongoing challenges in the Caribbean nation, with the Church expressing hope for his fruitful service.
