Sacred Fragments. This year’s YCLC Youth Camp invited members to reflect on how our brokenness can turn into something beautiful when we allow God to mend us. As the members reflectively crafted their own Kintsugi, they were reminded that the cracks in our lives are not meant to be hidden, but can be transformed by God’s grace.

The members also experienced different forms of prayer throughout the camp. On the first day, we prayed the Way of the Cross at Cebu Carmel, entering into Christ’s journey with reflection and silence. We were also introduced to bodily prayer through a yoga meditation led by Bro. Martin, SJ, helping us become more aware of God’s presence through our breath and movement.

We thank the facilitators, Bro. Ren SJ, Bro. Martin SJ, and Ms. Rona for journeying with the members.
We also thank Fr. Nono Levosada SJ for presiding at our closing Mass.

YCLC Pilgrimage 2025 | Walking in faith, embracing grace. ✨ In the spirit of the Jubilee Year, we journeyed through some of Cebu’s pilgrim churches—opening our hearts to prayer, reflection, and God’s abundant blessings. May this pilgrimage inspire us to live out His love every day!

JHS | Last weekend, the YCLC, along with members from Ignite and KOTA, held an inspiring youth camp! The event featured engaging talks on Ignatian Leadership, as well as YCLC’s mission and frontiers. The camp was packed with team-building activities that brought out the innate leadership skills of our members. We wrapped up the series of activities with positive affirmations and synthesis. 😊

The camp concluded with a mass presided by Fr. Mike Pineda, SJ, who encouraged our members to remain hopeful young Christians.

Staying holy can indeed be fun! Let us continue to aspire to form Christ-centered youth everywhere! 🥳

JHS | The YCLC of Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu, in collaboration with the Ignite Club, will be having a Youth Camp from November 30 to December 1, 2024. 🥳
The camp aims to introduce participants to Ignatian leadership, delve into CLC’s frontier on poverty and globalization, and foster camaraderie through engaging team-building activities.

JHS | Earlier in our club meeting, we had a meaningful and engaging conversation with Fr. Nono Levosada SJ, the director of Campus Ministry and Social Involvement Office. It was an informal conversation where we had a chance to listen to Fr. Nono’s stories and ask him questions about his life as a Jesuit and other various topics. We enjoyed the dialogue over shared snacks and ended the session with our club battlecry: YCLC, Stay Holy! 🤙❤️

JHS | Yesterday, the Junior High School YCLC held our regular club meeting. We kicked off with a speaking icebreaker to build stronger connections among members. Following that, we engaged in a prayer session and spiritual conversations to deepen our spiritual lives.

JUNIOR HIGH | Yesterday, our YCLC members gathered for a meaningful club meeting. We kicked off with a fun zendoodle activity, allowing us to understand each other better through our creative expressions.
Then, we visited the Jesuit Residence and spent a serene moment in prayer at the chapel.
Always grateful for these moments of bonding and reflection. 💙
