🙏Sunday Sermon Recap🙏

Last Sunday, we were reminded that prayer is our power source. Just like electricity keeps everything running, our spiritual lives depend on a consistent connection with God. When that connection is weak or interrupted, we lose strength—but through prayer, we are restored, sustained, and empowered.

🔹 The Purpose of Prayer
Prayer is our response in every situation—whether in trouble or in joy. It keeps us connected to God daily and reminds us to rely on Him in all circumstances.
đź“– James 5:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:17

🔹 The Provision of Prayer
Through prayer, God brings healing, forgiveness, and restoration. When we come to Him in faith and humility, He meets our needs and renews our lives.
📖 James 5:14–16

🔹 The Power of Prayer
Prayer is powerful and effective. Just as Elijah prayed and saw God move, we too can experience breakthroughs when we pray with faith and persistence.
📖 James 5:16–18

Reflection
If you want to stand strong in every situation, stay connected to your true power source. Don’t wait until everything shuts down—choose to kneel in prayer first.

🙏Sunday Sermon Recap🙏

Last Sunday, we discussed the prayer life of Jesus, a powerful pattern that teaches us how to deepen our own relationship with God. Through His example, we see that prayer is not just a routine—but a lifestyle marked by intimacy, dependence, and trust in the Father.

🔹 Pray in Solitude
Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray. In the midst of busyness, He prioritized time alone with the Father. We too are called to find our “secret place” and consistently meet God there.
📖 Luke 5:15–16

🔹 Pray in Every Critical Moment
Before major decisions and during important moments, Jesus prayed. Prayer was His first response—not His last resort. We are reminded to seek God first in every situation.
📖 Luke 6:12–13

🔹 Pray with Surrender
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” True prayer involves trusting God enough to surrender our own desires to His perfect will.
đź“– Luke 22:42

🔹 Pray for Others
Jesus continually interceded for others—even those who opposed Him. A Christ-like prayer life includes lifting others up and standing in the gap for them.
đź“– Luke 23:34

🔹 Pray with Gratitude and Trust
Jesus prayed with thanksgiving, confident that the Father hears. When we begin with gratitude, it strengthens our faith and reminds us of God’s faithfulness.
📖 John 11:41–42

“Lord, teach us to pray.” May we grow in a prayer life that seeks God daily, trusts Him fully, and reflects the heart of Jesus in every season.

He is risen! Because He lives, our hope is alive.

In a world filled with uncertainty, the empty tomb reminds us that darkness never has the final word. Jesus conquered sin, fear, and death so we could walk in new life, renewed purpose, and unshakable hope.

Today, we don’t just remember the resurrection, we live in its promise.

Our hope is alive! Happy Easter! ✝️

✝️ Holy Week Reflection: Slow Down and Be Still✝️

In a world filled with uncertainty, noise, and constant change, the Holy Week reminds us to pause… to slow down… and to reflect on what truly matters.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Even when life feels unpredictable and overwhelming, God remains constant, steady, and in control.

Take time to be still.
Create quiet moments for prayer.
Reflect with gratitude.
Listen for His voice.

This Holy Week, may we find peace not in having all the answers, but in trusting the One who holds everything together.

✨Sunday Sermon Recap ✨
📖 Scripture: 1 Kings 17:1–24

Last Sunday, we reflected on the life of Prophet Elijah, a man who trusted God even in seasons of uncertainty, lack, and testing. His journey reminds us that God often works through hidden places, uncomfortable paths, and unlikely circumstances to reveal His power and faithfulness.

🔹 God Sustains Us in Hidden Seasons
Elijah was led to the ravine—a place that was lonely and uncertain—yet it was there that God provided for him daily. Sometimes, God brings us into quiet or difficult seasons to deepen our dependence on Him.

🔹 When God Dries Up a Brook, He Has a Purpose
When the brook dried up, it wasn’t abandonment—it was redirection. God uses these moments to shift our dependence from provision to the Provider, to lead us into new opportunities, and to remind us that He has not forgotten us.

🔹 The Path to a Miracle Is Often Uncomfortable
Elijah’s journey to Zarephath was filled with uncertainty, yet it positioned him for a miracle. Growth and breakthroughs often happen in places that stretch our faith.

🔹 God’s Miracles Involve Faith and Obedience
Through the widow of Zarephath, we see that miracles follow obedience. When we trust God and surrender what little we have, He multiplies and sustains beyond what we can imagine.
📖 1 Kings 17:13–16

Reflection
Wherever you are—whether in a hidden place, a dry season, or an uncertain journey—remember this: God is all you need. Where He guides, He provides. Trust Him one day at a time.

đź‘‘ Sunday Sermon Recap đź‘‘

Last Sunday, we reflected on the life of King Hezekiah, a king who chose to honor God and lead his nation back to faithful worship. His story reminds us that a life devoted to God is marked by obedience, prayer, and trust—even in the middle of crisis.

🔹 A Devoted Life Removes What Dishonors God
Hezekiah began his reign by removing idols and restoring true worship in Judah. A heart devoted to God chooses to remove anything that takes His rightful place in our lives.
📖 2 Kings 18:3–4

🔹 Prayer Should Be the First Response, Not the Last Resort
When faced with threats and overwhelming challenges, Hezekiah turned to prayer. Instead of relying only on human solutions, he sought God first.
📖 2 Kings 19:14–19

🔹 A Trusting Heart Turns to God in Every Crisis
During both national crisis and personal illness, Hezekiah trusted God completely. His life reminds us that in every situation—whether public or personal—we can turn to God and trust in His power and faithfulness.
📖 2 Kings 20:1–6

A devoted life honors God, seeks Him first in prayer, and trusts Him in every circumstance. Like Hezekiah, may we choose to live with a heart fully devoted to the Lord.

🌿 Sunday Sermon Recap 🌿
Scripture: Genesis 16; 17:18–20; 21:14–20

Last Sunday, we reflected on the life of Ishmael—a story that reminds us that even in seasons of rejection, confusion, or wilderness, God still sees, hears, and cares for us. Ishmael’s life began in a complicated situation, yet God showed His compassion and faithfulness. His story reminds us that our difficult seasons do not cancel God’s purpose for our lives.

🔹 Human Plans Can Lead to Complications
Ishmael was born out of human impatience. Sometimes when we rush ahead of God’s timing, we create situations that bring pain and difficulty. Yet even in our mistakes, God’s mercy remains.
đź“– Genesis 16

🔹 God Hears Our Cry
When Ishmael and Hagar were in the wilderness, feeling abandoned and helpless, God heard the cry of the boy. His very name means “God hears.”
📖 Genesis 21:16–17

🔹 God Provides in the Wilderness
Before changing their circumstances, God first opened Hagar’s eyes to see the well of water that was already there. Sometimes God’s provision is closer than we realize.
đź“– Genesis 21:19

🔹 The Wilderness Is Not the End
God was with Ishmael as he grew, proving that seasons of difficulty do not define the end of our story. God continues to guide, sustain, and fulfill His promises.
đź“– Genesis 21:20

🙌 Reflection
The wilderness is not proof that God has abandoned you. It may be the place where He is shaping you. The same God who heard Ishmael hears every cry and still has a purpose for our lives.
