A joyful day with our youth and children as they learn Godโs Word, build good character, and grow in faith through fun and meaningful activities that remind them of Godโs love and truth.
As we reflect on the Parable of the Great Banquet, Jesus teaches us important lessons about Godโs invitation and how people respond to it.

God does not limit His invitation to the rich, powerful, or popular. He welcomes all people, especially the poor, the sick, and the forgotten. โWhen you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blindโ (Luke 14:13)

The people who were invited missed the banquet because they gave excuses like work, possessions, and personal concerns. Even good things can become distractions from Godโs call.
โI have just bought a field, I have just bought five yoke of oxen. I have just gotten married.โ (Luke 14:18โ20)

When some refused, God opened the invitation to others, the poor, the broken, and those often ignored. His house was still filled.
โGo out quickly into the streets and alleys, bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.โ (Luke 14:21)
Final thought:
God is still inviting us today. The question is simple:
Will we accept His invitation or make excuses?
