The said event was held at the ASU Makato Event Center (AMEC) at 9:00 AM on April 8, 2026.

𝓜𝓪𝓾𝓷𝓭𝔂 𝓣𝓱𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓭𝓪𝔂 marks the beginning of the 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐮𝐦 in Christianity. It commemorates the 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬, where He instituted the Eucharist and demonstrated humility through the washing of the feet. 𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘| 𝐅𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝟏𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Tomorrow, we observe Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of the Lenten season—a sacred time of reflection, repentance, and spiritual renewal. This solemn day calls us to acknowledge our human frailty and our constant need for God’s mercy and grace. As we reflect on its significance, we are reminded of the words, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”(Genesis 3:19) These words invite us to humility and sincere conversion of heart.

Ash Wednesday is also a day of fasting and abstinence, encouraging self-discipline and spiritual reflection. As we begin the forty days of Lent, may this season inspire us to deepen our prayer life, practice sacrifice, and extend compassion to others. May this observance guide us toward renewal and strengthen our faith as we prepare for Easter.
