𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆

On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we are reminded of Jesus’ promise to remain with us. In the Gospel, He declares that He is the living bread come down from heaven, offering Himself so that we may have life.

The Gospel reminds us that every time we receive the Eucharist, we are nourished by Christ’s love and called to share that same love with others.

𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝑺𝒐 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅

On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we are reminded of God’s great love for us. The Gospel tells us that God gave His only Son to save us from our sins.

Even in moments of fear and doubt, God never turns away from us. He continues to guide us with compassion and calls us to share that same love with others.

𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉, 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉

On Pentecost Sunday, we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples, filling them with courage. They were once afraid but the Spirit gave them strength to share God’s love. This moment became the beginning of the Church, as God’s message started to reach all people.

The Gospel reminds us that the same Spirit is still alive and working in us today. Even when we feel loneliness, God continues to breathe life into us. We are never alone because we are guided by God’s Spirit.

𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑶𝑪𝑻𝑶𝑮𝑬𝑵𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑨𝑵 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑!

We were blessed to meet the oldest and most enduring members of the St. James the Greater Parish (SGJP) Music Ministry: Lola Lo**ta (87), Lola Anecia (86), and Lola Anel (86).

With more than 70 years of experience as church choristers, these cousins began their journey in SGJP’s Music Ministry during their teenage years.

Their story is a beautiful testament to how a family that serves together in faith continues to inspire generations through love, unity, and devotion.

Through the many seasons of life, they have journeyed together, and now, their own families also serve alongside them in the parish.

The Ministry of Liturgical Music takes part in celebration of the Flores de Mayo. 🌸

Through praying the Rosary and offering flowers, we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. May this beautiful devotion deepen our hearts in prayer, unity, and gratitude as we offer our songs and lives to God through the Blessed Mother.
