In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent are to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20)

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit subsequent to being born again. We are Pentecostal/Charismatic in the projection of our faith. (Acts 1:5-8; 2:4)

The Holy Spirit imparts supernatural gifts to the believers for the edification of the Body of Christ. All gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to the believers today and are vital for the mission of the church. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11;Romans 12:6-8)

In the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:1-4; Acts 1:11)

In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

How to Be Blessed During Trials?

“We will all face trials, but we get to choose whether we will suffer with hope or suffer in despair.”

This Sunday, we were reminded from 2 Corinthians 4:8–18 that trials are not the end of our story. We may be pressed, perplexed, persecuted, and struck down, but we are not destroyed.

As believers, Christianity is not a promise of a life without trouble. Jesus Himself said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
- John 16:33

✨ Do not lose heart. Our weaknesses can become the platform for God’s strength, and our suffering can become the platform for His glory.

✨ Fix your eyes on what is unseen. What we see is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Our present struggles do not compare to the glory that is to come.

The blessing is not found in avoiding every trial, but in learning how to respond to trials with faith, hope, and perseverance.

When you are pressed-keep going.
When you are hurting-keep trusting.
When you are struck down-get back up.

You may be going through a trial, but God is still working in you and through you. Don’t lose heart. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
