๐Ÿ“ข ATTENTION

to: CYEA CLUSTERS
from: ndrrmc haha chz

Due to the continuous inclement weather and upon the advice of CLAG and our venue, our CYEA Metrowide Fellowship will be rescheduled to a later date.

Medyo nakakalungkot man na kailangan muna nating i-pause ang mga pinaghahandaan natin, we trust that Godโ€™s plans shall always prevail. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Weโ€™re looking forward to a better time and a safer opportunity for us to gather, connect, and fellowship together.

For now, please keep safe, stay dry, and take care of one another.

Stay tuned for the new date! Weโ€™ll see you soon, CYEA!

One of the hardest things to say is, "I was wrong."

We live in a world that tells us to protect our image, hide our mistakes, and always appear strong. Social media often shows only our highlights, not our failures. We celebrate success but try to cover up our weaknesses because we're afraid of being judged or looking incapable.

But God's wisdom is different. It takes courage to say, "I made a mistake. I'm sorry. I need to do better." When we humble ourselves before God, He doesn't shame us; He forgives us, restores us, and helps us grow.

If we keep hiding our mistakes, we also hide the opportunity for God to transform us. But when we confess, we make room for His grace to work in our lives.

As young people, we'll make mistakes. We'll say the wrong things, make poor choices, or fall short of expectations. The question isn't whether we'll failโ€”the question is how we'll respond when we do.

Will we make excuses, blame others, or pretend nothing happened? Or will we choose humility and allow God to shape our character?

This is meโ€”not someone who is perfect, but someone who is humble enough to admit when I'm wrong, receive God's grace, and grow from my mistakes.

A teachable heart is a wise heart.

Seeking advice doesn't mean blindly following everything people say. It means having a humble heart that is open to reason (James 3:17) and willing to consider perspectives beyond our own. God often uses wise people around us to reveal blind spots, correct our thinking, and help us make better decisions.

When we're emotionally invested in something, it's easy to convince ourselves that we're right. That's why Proverbs warns against relying solely on our own understanding (Proverbs 11:14; 12:15). Instead, we're called to trust the Lord, seek godly counsel, and walk with wise people (Proverbs 3:5; 13:20; 15:22; 27:17).

God speaks through the wise counsel of the people He has placed in our lives. Before making important decisions, ask yourself: Am I only listening to my own voice, or am I allowing God to guide me through wise and godly counsel? ๐Ÿ’š
