‼️BLESSED HOLY SABBATH‼️

MGA HEBREO 4:10 ABTAG

[10] Sapagka't ang pumasok sa kaniyang kapahingahan ay nagpahinga naman sa kaniyang mga gawa, gaya ng Dios sa kaniyang mga gawa.

Silent Killer

Depression is a disease, and it’s called the “silent killer” for a reason. If someone you know is sleeping through the day, ignoring calls and texts from family and friends, or complains of feeling lonely but doesn't want company, there’s a very good chance that they are deeply depressed and need intervention. There are many causes of depression–not all are the result of something bad that happened. It’s quite common for depression to be caused from a chemical imbalance in the brain or other forms of mental illness. Many times, medication is needed just to be able to see the light and find real joy, for without it, emotions are uncontrollable. Often their rage, anger, or just plain grumpiness is hardest on those who love them most. Sometimes depression is so deep that those affected are not able to even whisper a prayer. That’s why it’s important to pray intercessory prayers on their behalf for God to draw even closer and ease their troubled minds. Give encouragement and affirmation, and most of all, give love–unconditional, nonjudgmental love! Help them feel accepted and supported. The Bible says in Psalm 73:21-24, “When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered, I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.” Reassure them with God’s Holy Word that they are not alone because Jesus is right there in the midst of the darkness, speaking gently. There is hope in Christ Jesus. God’s love is constant, steadfast, and healing. Sadly, many people shy away from anyone suffering from mental illness, but they need support, not your cold shoulder. You’ll be amazed at the incredible joy you’ll feel when helping someone else. Choose to be a blessing and help someone who is lost in the darkness–life’s journey is hard enough, don’t add to their pain. Text: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Isaiah 40:31, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Romans 15:2

Happy sabbath, everyone!

If God has spoken to us from heaven, why do we still chase after gods of silver and gold? Have modern idols taken the place of divine presence in our lives?
