The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit 🕊️🔥

The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit are spiritual blessings given to us by God to help us live holy lives, grow closer to Him, and follow His will faithfully. These gifts are strengthened within us especially through the Sacrament of Confirmation.

1. Wisdom

The gift of Wisdom helps us see life through God’s eyes and value heavenly things more than earthly desires.

2. Understanding

This gift helps us comprehend the truths of the faith and deepen our understanding of God’s Word and teachings.

3. Counsel

Also called Right Judgment, Counsel helps us choose what is right and avoid what leads us away from God.

4. Fortitude

Fortitude gives us courage and strength to stand firm in faith, especially during trials, temptations, and suffering.

5. Knowledge

This gift helps us recognize God’s presence in creation and understand how to use His gifts wisely.

6. Piety

Piety fills our hearts with love for God and inspires us to worship Him with devotion and treat others as children of God.

7. Fear of the Lord

This is not being afraid of God, but having deep respect, reverence, and awe for His greatness and love.

Through these gifts, the Holy Spirit transforms us into faithful disciples of Christ and helps us live according to God’s will every day.

The Feast of Pentecost is Here!

Today, we celebrate the glorious Feast of Pentecost — the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church.

What began in the Upper Room became a mission that changed the world forever. Filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles went forth without fear to preach Christ crucified and risen. From that moment on, the Church began proclaiming the Gospel to every nation.

Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not distant. He is alive and moving within the Church and within every faithful believer. He strengthens the weak, comforts the broken, enlightens the mind, and renews the soul.

Today is an invitation to open our hearts once more to God’s Spirit. Let His fire burn away fear, sin, hatred, and doubt. Let Him fill us with courage, faith, wisdom, and love.

May we become living witnesses of Christ in our homes, communities, and daily lives.

Come, Holy Spirit!
Fill the hearts of Your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of Your love. 🔥

𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖 2026

May 1 is here the doorway into a beautiful and grace-filled Month of Mary. In a special way, we entrust these days to the loving care of the Virgin Mary, our Mother who never tires of interceding for her children. As we begin this month, we are reminded that Mary walks with us not from a distance, but closely, gently leading us to her Son, Jesus Christ.

This month invites us to slow down and return to what truly matters: prayer, trust, and a heart open to God’s will. Like Mary, who humbly accepted her mission with a faithful “yes,” we are called to surrender our worries, fears, and plans to the Lord. In moments when life feels heavy or uncertain, Mary becomes our refuge someone who understands, who listens, and who brings our prayers directly to Jesus.

May is also a time of simple yet meaningful devotion. Through the Rosary, we meditate on the life of Christ with Mary by our side. Through traditions like Flores de Mayo, we offer not just flowers, but our sacrifices, gratitude, and love. Each small act of devotion becomes a fragrant offering, pleasing to God and comforting to our souls.

As we journey through this Month of Mary, may her intercession bring healing where there is pain, clarity where there is confusion, and hope where there is discouragement. May she protect our families, strengthen our faith, and guide our steps each day. And above all, may she always lead us closer to Jesus, where true peace and lasting joy are found.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for us this Month of May now and always.
