IN PHOTOS | In a spirit of discernment and openness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Vicariate Youth Ministry (VYM) Council gathered for its Annual Planning as part of its activities for the year. Guided by this year's theme, "Cor Unum in Deum" ("One Heart in God"), the council reflected on its mission and direction through a formation session led by Bro. Jaypee Manlutac.

The planning concluded with the council's participation in an online Holy Mass, uniting in prayer and thanksgiving as they formally closed the activity.

The VYM Annual Planning was held on July 4–5, 2026, at Ortelanos Staycation Resort, San Pedro Saug, Lubao, Pampanga.

𝐂𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐈𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐮𝐦

To form another 3-year strategic pastoral planning and to strengthen formation, the Vicariate of St. Augustine of Hippo Youth Ministry (VSAOHYM) is currently conducting its VYM Planning at Ortelano's Staycation and Event Place, San Pedro Saug, Lubao, Pampanga, administered by the VYM Council.

Centered on the theme "Cor Unum In Deum" (One Heart in God), this planning is a call for the youth to stand firm in principle, responding to the needs of the community and walking the pathway of the synod toward God and the young people of the Church.

With this, let us join in synodal prayer for the success of this 2-day planning session of our young ministers from July 4 to 5, 2026.

It is with great pride and joy that we present our fresh graduate from Centro Escolar University – Manila, who has successfully earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. He is another cream of the crop from VSAOHYM and serves as our dedicated VYM Animator Head, Bro. Marion Gerrar S. Paule, who officially celebrated this remarkable academic milestone on July 1, 2026.

Despite the rain, the unwavering spirit and resilience of the young ministers of the Saint Augustine of Hippo Youth Ministry shone brightly as they concluded the 6th Vicariate Youth Day.

United as six parishes with one heart directed toward God, this gathering became a beautiful testament to faith, fellowship, and a shared mission of service. Through every challenge and every moment of celebration, the youth demonstrated what it truly means to be Cor Unum Ad Deum—One Heart Toward God.

This year's Vicariate Youth Day was hosted by La Consolacion Parish under the guidance of our Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Howell Suarez.
As we look forward to the next gathering of the VSAOHYM, we carry with us the memories, friendships, and spiritual growth that made this event truly meaningful.

Indeed, we are one heart toward God.
