The message of absolute surrender is a daily decision we are called to make. It is always timely and never goes out of season. From the beginning, to the present, and into the days ahead, God’s call to wholehearted surrender remains the same. We are deeply privileged to receive this exhortation from our National Director Kuya Boni during a special session at LEAPS2025. And this Christmas, may we respond by offering not just our celebrations, but our lives—fully surrendered to Christ, the greatest gift of all.

Drawing from his personal testimony—from his early years to a life wholly devoted to disciple-making—Kuya Boni reminded us that true discipleship begins and is sustained by a life fully yielded to Christ. In his message, “Absolute Surrender,” he pointed us to the supreme example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who declared, “I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me” (John 14:31, NIV). He also echoed the exhortation of the Apostle Paul, reminding us that our relationship with Christ is grounded in obedience that flows from faith, not in reliance on the works of the law. A surrendered life, therefore, is not marked merely by outward activity, but by inward obedience—faith expressed through wholehearted submission to Christ.

From this message, Kuya Boni challenged us to embrace a life of absolute surrender expressed in the following ways:
1. Living as Sanctified Saints. In Christ, we are sanctified. We are called to live in the world as Saints-holy and separated from the lusts and worldliness of men.
2. Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus. We are to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We must listen carefully to those who teach God’s Word and diligently examine the Scriptures to discern and confirm the truth.
3. Proclaiming the Gospel by God’s Power. We are called to preach the Gospel to as many people as possible and, by all possible means, to save some. Despite our weaknesses, our competence comes from God, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

As we review and reflect on Kuya Boni’s LEAPS2025 message this Christmas season, may our hearts be stirred to respond with absolute surrender to Christ. As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us remember that true discipleship begins with humble obedience and faith—trusting God to work through our lives so others may encounter His Kingdom. Gloria in excelsis Deo!

As we look back on LEAPS2025, our final session (Session 3) invited us into deeper reflection through these questions: How does your union with Christ—as the Vine to the branches, or the Head to the Body—shape the way you live each day? Why is it essential to abide in Him and be deeply rooted before we serve, lead, or bear fruit? Which aspect of Jesus’ life is the Lord presently highlighting for you—surrender, abiding, holiness, Spirit-led living, or obedience—and calling you to grow in now, so that your life and ministry may truly reflect the life, character, and presence of Christ?

The image contains our review notes from the third and final LEAPS2025 session, entitled “Rooted, Renewed, and Released to Bear Fruit—Fruit That Will Last,” facilitated by Kuya Jovitmar Bumarlong. He reminded us of a vital truth: we cannot make true disciples unless we ourselves are genuine disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. What we reproduce flows from who we are—we reproduce our own kind. Therefore, if we desire to see others grow and mature in faith, we must first pursue and continually cultivate maturity in Christ ourselves.

The key emphases of this session remain anchored in the final component of the R.A.I.S.E. Leaders Framework—the letter E, calling us to live as leaders who are empowered by grace, rooted in Christ, and released to bear lasting fruit.

The R.A.I.S.E. framework serves as the foundational structure for LEAPS2025:
• R – Rooted in the Word and Prayer
• A – Assess Maturity and Growth
• I – Invest in Mentoring Relationships
• S – Strengthen Engagement and Serve with Humility
• E – Empower and Equip for Multiplication

In this season of leadership, how am I allowing Christ to shape my character and direct my leadership, instead of relying on my own strengths and abilities? Am I intentionally mentoring and investing in others, helping them grow toward Christlikeness? Does my leadership reflect servanthood and humility, or am I more concerned about recognition—whether through acceptance, appreciation, approval, affirmation, processes, results, or position?

These reflection questions from LEAPS2025 Session 2, facilitated by Kuya Ronnie Sinfuego, invited us to honestly examine the condition of our leadership and the motivations of our hearts.

Entitled “FORMED TO LEAD: Shaped by Christ, Sharing His Heart, Serving His People,” the session reminded us of what it truly means to lead like Christ—to let Christ shape us, to share His heart with others, and to serve His people with humility.

Here are key highlights from the session, anchored in the next three components of the R.A.I.S.E. Leaders Framework—the letters A–I–S.

The R.A.I.S.E. framework serves as the foundational structure for LEAPS2025:
• R – Rooted in the Word and Prayer
• A – Assess Maturity and Growth
• I – Invest in Mentoring Relationships
• S – Strengthen Engagement and Serve with Humility
• E – Empower and Equip for Multiplication

In this season of my life, am I truly remaining in Christ, or am I simply performing spiritually? Is my spiritual life growing, stagnant, or declining? What areas might God be gently pruning, correcting, or inviting me to surrender? How grounded is my prayer life in God’s Word—do I pray through Scripture, or mostly from my own thoughts and feelings?

These are just some of the heartfelt reflection questions from LEAPS2025 Session 1, facilitated by our Brother Ricky Esternon.

Here are a few key highlights from his topic: “Rooted in the Word and Prayer — ABIDE AND REMAIN,” which is anchored in the first component of the R.A.I.S.E. Leaders Framework—the letter “R.”

LEAPS2025
2025 November 21-23
Word of Life Philippines Calauan Camp, Laguna, Philippines
*A gathering of our Outreach Core Leaders from Southern Luzon Ministries.

The Leadership Enhancement and Action Planning Summit (LEAPS) is a strategic and transformative conference designed to equip and empower LAMI leaders with the essential qualities of spiritually mature and effective leadership. Through a foundation of Biblical truth, practical skills, and strategic review and planning, LEAPS equips leaders to inspire growth and expansion ministry within their communities. At its core, the summit emphasizes the sustainability of the church, beginning with a strong foundation in the cell group structure, ensuring that leadership development translates into tangible impact across all levels of ministry.

The 2025 summit carries the theme: “R.A.I.S.E. Leaders: Rooted in Christ, Equipped for Multiplication”, grounded in the Scripture: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you… This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” (John 15:7–8 NIV)

The R.A.I.S.E. framework serves as the guiding structure for the summit:
R – Rooted in the Word and Prayer
A – Assess Maturity and Growth
I – Invest in Mentoring Relationships
S – Strengthen Engagement and Serve with humility
E – Empower and Equip for Multiplication

As we gathered to grow, strategize, and equip leaders to impact families and communities, we witnessed the Lord’s grace at work among us. May He continue to root every participant deeply in His Word, empower them fully by His Spirit, and prepare them to multiply for Christ and in Christ in the days ahead. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
