ANNOUNCEMENTS:

- No Temple Service effective March 18 until further notice.

- Those who wished to get HU should Pwa-Pwe & ask DST’s permission before getting the HU.

- Effective Immediately, all VIRUS HU should ALWAYS be pinned in your undershirts or pocket instead of your CELLPHONE. Can also hang like wearing a necklace.

Those who ordered the Alcohol will be advised when to pickup at Temple.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Due to the current CoVid 19 situation, the Hun Chuan Temple will institute precautionary measures immediately to protect everyone. Hoping for your utmost cooperation for the good of all. These are only temporary.

Effective immediately, we will be using only one Entrance/Exit (main red gate) to monitor Temperature of all people going inside the Temple. The stainless steel small door will be closed. If your temperature is more than 37.5, entry will be denied.

All visitors are required to wear mask while in the temple. Please bring your own mask.

Wash hands with soap and water on entering and bring your own towels.

Snacks shall be limited to pastries only.

Please dispose paper cups after use.

Reminders:
1. If you have cough, cold, sore throat, or fever, please exercise 14 day self quarantine at home instead of visiting the temple. If symptoms are serious, please visit the hospital.

2. Please leave the temple immediately after consulting DST.

3. Those with weakened immune system or with health conditions (like senior citizens, kidney transplant patients, cancer patients, etc) should always wear a surgical mask.

4. If you’ve been to China or other countries or local areas with Covid 19, please do 14 day self quarantine at home.

5. Young children and babies not consulting DST are advised to stay at home.

6. Always keep your hands clean by washing with soap and water or ethyl alcohol.
Avoid touching your nose, mouth, and eyes.

7. Surgical masks are not to be reused. Hold the ear loops only when removing. Do not touch the mask itself. Please dispose properly.

8. Avoid shaking hands, kissing (including beso), hugging, and other forms of physical contact when greeting each other.

Depending on developments in the next few days, there’s a possibility that services will be stopped temporarily in the coming weeks.

Additional reminders:

1. Wear the SHIRT BLESSED BY DST on the night of the Kai-Unn.
In the morning, after taking off the SHIRT, keep it inside your closet . Bring it back on the next year’s Kai-Unn for burning at the Temple.

2. Longlife Misua, Angcho, & lucky Siutho Pao, should be consumed after the Kai-Unn day.
***For 1 & 2, If not possible to wear / to eat , try to have it done within 1 month.

3. Keep the New Blessed HU with you all the Time(in your wallet/ cellphone/body, etc. ) right after the Kai Unn. Bring last year’s HU to the Temple for Burning at the Pagoda Urn

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR KAI-UNN:

To all doing the Kai-Unn, kindly bring your own house help/driver to assist you in burning your KIM (our staff will be assigned to do the stirring ONLY).

After you register, proceed to #2 to get your NUMBER (NO number NO sitting at #3)

Same applies to KIM/Pe-Pao,
NO PAYMENT, No KIM / PE-PAO

Reminders:

1. After stamping your KIM, remember to KE-LO before burning

2. Kindly pre-fold your KIM before burning to prevent lots of smoke

3. Stir gently so the ashes will not overflow or spill on the grounds to avoid FIRE 🔥

4. Remove plastic of Pe-pao before burning

5. Dispose your trash properly (plastic bags/ropes/paper per carton)

6. STRICTLY NO Writing/Stamping of KIM at the DINING AREA

7. Separate DRUMS Are provided STRICTLY for burning the OLD shirts done last year. (Do not burn your KIM & Pe-pao in these drums)

8. Burn your old HU in the Pagoda Urn once all is done

9. Kindly RETURN ALL USED SACKS to #6 CLAIM AREA
