Salmo 119:97-104

Lord’s Day Celebration
July 12, 2026

Text: Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

The “word of Christ” refers to the gospel and the teachings of Jesus. Dwelling means, a permanent residence, implying that the teachings of Christ should be a constant presence in the believer’s life.
Singing together fosters unity and allows the community to declare their faith collectively as seen in Ephesians 5:19

Colossians 1:15-20

The Preeminence of Christ

[15] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. [16] For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. [17] And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. [18] And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. [19] For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, [20] and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Discipleship Training

2 Corinthians 1:22
[22] and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Ephesians 1:13-14
[13] In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, [14] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

Through the gift of the Spirit, God renews and sanctifies us. He produces in our hearts those feelings, hopes, and desires which are evidence that we are accepted by God, that we are regarded as His adopted children, that our hope is genuine, and that our redemption and salvation are sure in the same way that a seal guarantees a will or an agreement. God grants to us His Holy Spirit as the certain pledge that we are His forever and shall be saved in the last day.

Galatians 4:3-7

[3] In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. [4] But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, [5] to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. [6] And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” [7] So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

A reflection on the Seven Last Words of Jesus

Last Sunday, February 15, 2026 we had a Family Day and we also celebrated our 10th year anniversary. What a beautiful and unforgettable day it has been!
Ten years ago, God led us to Brgy. Pilit in Sta. Fe and started Church Planting, we are forever grateful for the people the Lord used to minister to the community from day one.
And today we stand in awe of how He has grown it into a thriving, Christ-centered family.
Through challenges, persecutions and victories, He has remained our foundation, our guide and our strength.

And what a joy to have witnessed seven individuals, our brothers and sisters in Christ who publicly professed their faith through Water Baptism- a powerful declaration of new life in Christ! It is a reminder that God is continually transforming lives and that the mission continues.

Our theme is anchored in Philippians 3:12

[12] Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.

Like Paul, in humility, we acknowledge our ongoing spiritual journey. The ultimate goal is to know Christ fully for He now owns us.

Ginoo giyahi kami, ha imo grasya, we will press on.

As we honor this 10 year journey, we give all glory to God, for every pastor, leader, member and supporter who has been part of this vision. Thank you for your prayers, service, sacrifice and love. May the Lord bless you!

Soli Deo Gloria!
