As the Church celebrates the Memorial of Saints Joachim and Anne, the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the grandparents of our Lord Jesus Christ, we give thanks for the invaluable gift of grandparents.

Their lives remind us that faith is first nurtured within the family. Through their prayers, wisdom, sacrifices, and unwavering love, grandparents help pass on the treasure of the Gospel from one generation to the next. Like Saints Joachim and Anne, they quietly prepare hearts to encounter Christ, becoming living witnesses of God's enduring love and fidelity.

Today, let us honor and thank our grandparents for the legacy of faith they have entrusted to us. May we cherish their presence, seek their wisdom, and remember with gratitude those who have gone before us, praying that they may rest in the eternal embrace of the Lord.

JULY 6, 2026 | 2ND DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF MARY CHRIS REGIDOR

Today, we lovingly commemorate the 2nd Death Anniversary of Mary Chris Regidor, a devoted altar server whose faith, humility, and joyful service at the Lord's altar became an inspiration to all who knew her. Through her dedication, reverence, and willingness to serve, she reflected Christ's love and touched the hearts of her fellow altar servers and the entire parish community. Although she is no longer with us physically, her beautiful legacy of faith and selfless service continues to live on in our hearts.

As we remember Mary Chris today, let us unite in prayer for the eternal repose of her soul, trusting in God's infinite mercy and the promise of everlasting life. May Christ, whom she faithfully served on earth, welcome her into His heavenly kingdom, where there is no more pain or sorrow, but only eternal peace and joy.
