Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, a sacred time in the Christian calendar that commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. As He rode on a humble donkey, people welcomed Him with palm branches and joyful praises, recognizing Him as their king. The celebration invites us to reflect on the contrast between the crowd’s enthusiasm and the events that would soon follow—His suffering and sacrifice.

This Sunday reminds us to examine our own faith, to remain faithful not only in moments of joy but also in times of trial, and to prepare our hearts for the deeper meaning of Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection.
