🗓️ 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞

In his homily Fr. Riche words strike right at the heart of how we often view the good things we receive: we too easily make material blessings the prize, when they are really just proof of the One who gives them.

May we always carry this truth in our hearts: every good thing we have is an extension of God’s love for us. Let us use it to love Him more, and never let it replace Him.

📖 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟏𝟎:𝟑𝟕–𝟒𝟐

Following Christ is not always easy. Today's Gospel reminds us that true discipleship calls us to place God above all else and to faithfully carry our cross each day.

In his homily, Fr. Riche Armas shares two important reminders:

✨ 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚.
Our love for God must come before every blessing He has entrusted to us even our family. When God is first, we learn to love others with the same selfless love of Christ.

✨ 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡.
To be His disciple is to deny ourselves, carry our daily cross, turn away from sin, and faithfully love and serve God and His people.

May we always choose God above all that He has given us and learn to live each day for Him through Christ Jesus! 🙏
