Samar Mission Delegates Begin Journey to Bi-Union Biblical and Theological Conference

PALOMPON, LEYTE — Samar Mission delegates began their journey on September 22, 2026, to attend the Bi-Union Biblical and Theological Conference at Central Philippine Adventist College, scheduled for September 24–27, 2026.

Traveling via Palompon, Leyte, before proceeding to Cebu on September 23, the delegates were warmly welcomed on their first evening by the Palompon SDA Church brethren and District Leader Pstr. Hanzel Agrade and wife, who graciously hosted them for dinner.

The warm hospitality provided an encouraging start to the delegates’ journey toward a gathering dedicated to biblical and theological learning, fellowship, and ministry.

Grateful for the fellowship and hospitality of God’s people along the journey.

A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar Friday, followed by a powerful aftershock, causing catastrophic destruction across Myanmar and Thailand. At least 150 are confirmed dead, with hundreds more injured and many still missing.

The global Seventh-day Adventist Church invites all to pause and pray for those affected by this tragedy and for relief efforts unfolding across the region.
