Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

Rev. Msgr. Antonio M. Gaviola, PC, presided over the Mass at Holy Family Church, followed by a Solemn Procession around the church.

GRAND CENACLE | The Diocese of Maasin, through the Marian Movement of Priests, invites the faithful to join in the Diocesan Grand Cenacle on Saturday, 13 June 2026, at the Holy Family Church in Brgy. Tagaytay, Bato, Leyte.

Activities will begin at 8:00 AM with a morning prayer, the reading of meditations (Blue Book), and a series of talks.

At 1:30 PM, Bishop Precioso D. Cantillas of Maasin will lead the Cenacle Prayer and deliver the talk for the Third Meditation. His Excellency will also preside over the 3:00 PM Eucharistic Celebration.

May 1, 2026 | The Solemn Blessing and Inauguration of the Holy Family Church - Tagaytay Bato, Leyte

Different walks of life gathered as they witnessed the solemn blessing and inauguration of the Holy Family Church located in Brgy. Tagaytay, Bato, Leyte.

The event was led by the Diocese of Maasin Bishop, Most. Rev. Precioso D. Cantillas, SDB, DD. And was joined by Auxiliary Bishop Athanasius Schneider, ORC, of Astana, Kazakhstan, along with the Maasin clergy and visiting priests.

Rev. Msgr. Antonio M. Gaviola, PC, was formally installed as Rector of the church.

With joyful hearts and deep gratitude to God, we are immensely thankful to Mr. & Mrs. Panfilo Go for this new sacred house of the Lord given to us.

"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us and bless our family."

Four Decades of Devotion, One Mission: God’s Glory

Uban sa mapasalamaton ug malipayon nga kasingkasing, atong gisaulog ang ika-40 nga Anibersaryo sa Pagkapari ug ika-66 nga Adlawng Natawhan ni Rev. Msgr. Antonio M. Gaviola, PC, kansang kinabuhi nahimong buhing pamatuod sa matinud-anon nga pag-alagad, pagpaubos, ug walay pagduha-duha nga dedikasyon sa Diyos ug sa Iyang katawhan.

Gilibutan sa iyang minahal nga pamilya, mga parokyano gikan sa iyang mga nangaging parokya, mga tumutuo sa Holy Child Parish – Bato ug sa ginsakupan sa Holy Family Church, kining mahinungdanong higayon gisaulog pinaagi sa usa ka solemne nga Eukaristikanhong Selebrasyon nga gipangunahan ni Most Rev. Precioso D. Cantillas, SDB, DD, Obispo sa Maasin, uban sa Team of Pastors nga gipangulohan ni Rev. Fr. Samuel Papa. Kini nga panagtigom nagpakita dili lamang sa kadugayon sa iyang pag-alagad, kondili sa daghang kinabuhi nga iyang natandog ug nagiyahan iyang panaw sa pagkapari.

Malipwayong ika-40 nga Anibersaryo sa Pagkapari ug ika-66 nga Adlawng Natawhan, Msgr. Gaviola! Hinaut nga padayon kang panalanginan sa Ginoo sa imong kinabuhi ug ministeryo uban sa daghang grasya samtang naggiya ka pa sa daghang kalag padulong Kaniya.
