Theology University Bicol sends out our love, prayers and condolences to the family of Doc Jojo Bive.

We will always remember Doc Bive’s loving mentorship to our graduate students. His subjects, Historical Theology and Apologetics, were never boring and will always be remembered for exciting discussions and debates — where students never won, no matter which side of the debate Doc Bive assigned them to defend!

With his brilliant wit and deep knowledge, he turned complex theological concepts into lively, unforgettable learning moments. He taught us that truth stands firm, and that engaging with it humbly and rigorously is itself an act of faith.

Though he has gone home to our Creator, his legacy lives on in every student he inspired, every lesson he taught, and every life he touched. His passion for theology and his love for his students remain woven into the very soul of Theology University Bicol!

Rest well, our loved, and esteemed professor. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. We hold fast to the hope that we shall meet again.

Our deepest sympathies and warmest embrace to Ma’am Jen Bive — may God grant you strength, comfort, and peace that surpasses all understanding during this difficult time.

We’ve just wrapped up a fantastic run of Contextual Theology at Theology University Bicol. My thanks to Prof. Ptr. Al Uy for bringing such energy and insight to the classroom and making the 'heavy lifting' of graduate studies so rewarding for our students.

The journey continues as we look forward to upcoming sessions on Historical Theology, Apologetics and more. Stay tuned—there is so much more to explore!
