Before entering the ministry, I was just an ordinary man, nakiki-belong nalang kahit saan. I had fun with all of them. Looking back now, nare-realize ko nang God was already working in my life kahit hindi ko pa alam kung saan Niya ako dinadala. I had my own fears, doubts, and dreams, pero unti-unti Niya akong hinanda para sa calling na ito.
My journey in the ministry started when I agreed to what kuya LJ said about "being a part of the Youth Ministry in the church". At first, I felt doubtful dahil napasabi ako sa sarili kong, "Hindi naman Ako perfect? Hindi naman Ako as in na devoted sa Diyos? Pano na yan?" Then, I really thought about it. Hindi ko alam kung kakayanin ko talaga, pero sa aking pagninilay, I chose to say "yes" because I believed that if God called me, He would also give me the strength to continue.
My formation wasn't always easy. It taught me to trust God more, stay humble, and keep serving even when things become difficult.
I stayed because I felt that God was pulling me closer to Him. Along the way, I realized that the Ministry is more than just serving—it's about allowing God to transform your heart. They are people who reminded me that I never have to walk this journey alone. Dito ako nakahanap ng inspirasyon.
One of my biggest inspirations is God and the people sent by Him. For me, God is my greatest inspiration because kahit ilang beses akong magkamali o mapagod, He never gives up on me.
The people God sent into my life also became my inspiration. Sila 'yung naging instruments ni Lord para i-guide, i-encourage, at itama ako kapag kinakailangan. Through their words, actions, and examples, mas lalo kong naintindihan kung ano ang tunay na kahulugan ng service, humility, and faith. Their life reminds me that serving God isn't about being the best—it's about giving your best with a sincere heart.
The ministry changed my life by being my rest. Oo, “Rest”. I can look at myself for example. Gaya sa situation ko ngayon, as in, madami akong grupong hawak sa school, madaming gawain, at madami rin akong obligation sa bahay. "Wala man lang pahinga" napasabi ako ngunit na realize kong, "Wait, palagi akong meron sa tahanan ng Diyos, at nasabi kong ang Diyos ang aking pahinga, so palagi akong may pahinga." This is what I realized because of the ministry. I have been lighter than ever. I have strengthened my faith. He has helped me discover my purpose, and taught me that real joy comes from serving others without expecting anything in return.
I would like to thank everyone in the. Thank you for believing in me, guiding me, correcting me when I needed it, and reminding me to keep my eyes on God. I wouldn't be the person I am today without your support. Every blessing, every challenge, every friendship, and every lesson became part of my journey. Looking back, I can confidently say that God has been faithful through it all.
To all the youths out there, don't be afraid to answer God's call. You don't have to be perfect before you can serve. God doesn't call the most qualified—He qualifies those who are willing. Kung feeling mo kulang ka, remember that God can use ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
Trust Him. Keep your faith alive and never stop serving with love. One simple "Yes" to God can completely change your life, just as it changed mine. I hope this reminds everyone that Ministry is not just about what we do for God—it's about allowing God to transform who we are.
