My thoughts regarding the misunderstanding between Klang and Dustin
I understand Klang's frustration as a leader—because when a task fails, it’s often the leader who carries the blame. It's pressure-packed. It’s personal. But LEADERSHIP ISN'T JUST about carrying responsibility—it's also about how you CARRY YOUR PEOPLE.
There’s a huge difference between talking to your team as a group and addressing a team member individually.
If you're correcting something that most of the team struggled with, then speak to them together. Save time. Set the tone. Help everyone understand what to improve. But if your concern is only with one person, CALLING THEM OUT in front of others risks making that person feel isolated or shamed. It could even lead others to look at them differently.
That’s why I genuinely admired Dustin at that moment. He didn’t raise his voice or cause drama—he simply stood up for himself and for Bianca. If you're going to CALL SOMEONE OUT PUBLICLY, then they deserve the chance to RESPOND PUBLICLY TOO. Especially if they believe it was unfair or taken out of context.
What happened in that scene wasn't just about points or tasks—it was about communication, respect, and how we treat people when we’re frustrated. A real leader inspires even in failure. They build bridges, not walls. They don’t just speak—they listen, too.
LEADERSHIP IS NOT ABOUT BEING THE LOUDEST VOICE IN THE ROOM. IT’S ABOUT BEING THE MOST UNDERSTANDING ONE.
