I remember placing this photo of Jesus in the center of the house when we first moved in the year 2003, some 23 years ago.
I write today because of what I think happened a year or a couple of years ago which I now attribute to this picture of Christ in our home.
I was sleeping in the sofa in the sala one night and must have fallen asleep. Whether I was conscious or dreaming I didn't bother to know. But near my head side I heard men talking. When I awoke to find out who the persons were I realized I was only dreaming. Although I noticed someone approached me which I sensed was coming from the center of the house. I called out my eldest son because I thought he was the one who came to me in the sofa. I lifted my head to see if it was him and found no one. My sons and grandchildren were all in their rooms past asleep.
When I sat down on the couch and try to figure out what happened my head was heavy and were it for the mercy, power and love of Jesus I may have been terribly sick or something life-threatening could have happened to me.
It was in retrospect and the strength of faith in Christ Jesus that I begin to believe that the people or the spirits that were on my bed side were angels sent by Jesus to save me from the jaws of death or from something life-threatening. I did not understood what they were saying but it must be whether I deserve to live or die. And I believe I still live today because there is still purpose in life.
And now I know you readers, ask: so what is the relation of Christ's picture that hung in the center of the house?
Here is my honest opinion. The good spirits or angels who healed me that night in my sleep came from Christ Jesus and
Christ's photograph which occupy the center of our house was the instrument of Christ's mercy, power and love. Christ who is the center of our hearts and the foundation of our faith is with us.
All glory thanks and praise to You our Lord and God Jesus Christ!
Our Savior God!
The one who is who was and who is to come again,
LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!
