Abounding in the Grace of Giving
I. THE PATTERN FOR GRACE-GIVING
(2 Corinthians 8:1)
When God's grace moves in people, their circumstances do not limit their obedience.
II. THE PICTURE OF GRACE-GIVING
(2 Corinthians 8:2-5)
Grace-giving begins with surrender. When your life belongs to God, your possessions follow.
III. THE PRESCRIPTION TO ABOUND IN GRACE-GIVING
(2 Corinthians 8:6-7)
Grace-giving is not optional growth—it is part of spiritual maturity.
IV. THE PROPELANT OF GRACE-GIVING
(2 Corinthians 8:8-9)
Giving should not be driven by pressure, command, or expectation from others.
Jesus Christ is the ultimate example: Though He was rich, yet for our sake He became poor.
Grace-giving is fueled by what Christ has done—not by what we hope to receive.
V. THE PERSUASION OF GRACE-GIVING
(2 Corinthians 8:10-12)
Grace-giving is a blessing—but it must be fulfilled, not just promised.
Giving is not about equal amounts, but equal sacrifice and sincerity before God.
VI. THE PURPOSE OF GRACE-GIVING
(2 Corinthians 8:13-15)
God blesses us not just for our benefit, but so we can become a channel of blessing to others.
God’s intention is not just to bless you—but to make you a blessing.
Conclusion Challenge:
• Do you desire to abound in grace-giving?
• Are you cultivating a lifestyle of generosity?
• Are you allowing God’s grace to flow through you?
Desire it. Pray for it. Start it. Grow in it.
Are you abounding in the grace of giving?
