PRAYER & SUPPORT REQUEST
On Monday, June 8, 2026, at 7:37 AM, a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck General Santos City and Sarangani Province, causing widespread destruction and affecting many communities.
Our beloved church (World Disciple Mission Church) and parsonage suffered severe damage. Walls and structural components were cracked, musical instruments and ministry equipment were damaged, and several areas have become unsafe for worship services and ministry activities.
Yet even in the midst of this difficult season, God’s people remain steadfast. Local believers continue to gather, worship, serve, and trust the Lord faithfully despite the challenges they face.
We humbly ask for your prayers and support for the restoration of our mission work. Please also remember in prayer all the churches in General Santos City, Sarangani, and throughout Mindanao as they seek recovery, rebuilding, and restoration after this devastating earthquake.
May God strengthen every family, church, and community affected by this disaster.
