Looking back.... 34 years ago, my wife and i with our 6-month old baby came to this place (poblacion, Kasibu) as complete strangers. I just resigned from my nursing job @ the MAP Clinic in brgy. Catarawan. We wanted to do a pioneering church planting work as there was no born- again church in the area then. We went home first to Baguio City to seek the permission n blessing of our church. The Baguio brethren prayed over us and sent us as missionaries to Kasibu. So we came, by faith or no financial support. Pure labor of love. The congregation we started, we named Kasibu Christian Fellowship, an independent church... until we got affilliated with the Assemblies of God 15 years later. Thus, we became Kasibu Christian fellowship Assemblies of God or kcfag. We have planted daughter churches in 4 different barangays so far.
My wish and dream and prayer is for our church to reach out to all the other barangays. Oh that the younger generation will catch the vision... and go. So help us God. Amen.
