The Devils Who Feast on Our Screens: A Grave Warning About Po*******hy and Immodest Content And Posters In Our Home
Watching p**n, having immodest and sexual videos on your phone, or viewing lustful movies and immodest books, magazines, and calendars will bring many devils into your home.
In a world flooded with sexual images, scandalous videos, and immodesty on social media, many souls are unknowingly opening doors to spiritual destruction. What seems like harmless entertainment—sharing a scandalous clip, watching immodest influencers, or storing sexual images—can be an invitation to the demonic.
St. Alphonsus Liguori, Doctor of the Church, gave a chilling warning:
"Oh, how delighted is the devil when he sees in any house an immodest picture! It is related in the life of Father John Baptist Vitelli that a troop of devils was once seen in the hall of a certain nobleman offering incense to an immodest picture that hung there, in return for the souls which they gained by it."
The devils worship these images—not because they adore them, but because they bring about the ruin of souls. Every image of lust shared or viewed gives darkness a foothold. Your phone, your bedroom, your digital library could become a spiritual battleground where demons are incensed by your own hands.
The Bible is equally clear about the dangers of lust:
"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." – Matthew 5:28
"For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world." – 1 John 2:16
"Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body." – 1 Corinthians 6:18
St. John Chrysostom boldly stated:
"Immodest pictures are more dangerous than poison, for they kill not the body, but the soul."
St. Padre Pio also warned:
"Impurity is the poison of the soul. It is the cause of almost all the deaths of souls."
We must ask ourselves: What are we watching? What are we sharing? What are we entertaining?
When you watch p**nography, share lewd videos, or scroll through immodest posts, you’re not just engaging with media—you are placing spiritual traps in your home and heart. Every click matters.
