We sincerely apologize for our inability to participate in the 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 due to our organizational responsibilities and commitments.

🌙 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗠 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡 — 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗬.

Sometimes, we see the commands of Islam as restrictions and its prohibitions as limitations. But when we look beyond the surface, we discover something far more beautiful:

Every command carries wisdom.
Every prohibition carries protection.
Every ruling carries mercy.

Allah does not guide us to what harms us, nor does He prohibit something without wisdom. His guidance is a mercy for the heart, a protection for the soul, and a path toward what is truly beneficial.

«“Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.”
— Qur’an 2:185»

May Allah grant us the understanding to see the wisdom behind His commands, the humility to accept His guidance, and the sincerity to live by it.

Alhamdulillah, our Virtual Muhadarah was successfully conducted.

Our sincere gratitude to Sheikh 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗸𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 for sharing his knowledge and to everyone who spent their evening seeking beneficial knowledge with us.

May Allah ﷻ accept every effort and make what we learned a hujjah for us, not against us. 🤍

The Basilan Youth Da’wah Association - BAYDA expresses its appreciation to Board Member 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 for taking the time to engage in a meaningful discussion with our youth representative regarding a proposed provincial ordinance addressing a contemporary issue affecting our community.

During the discussion, Board Member Amin Hataman shared valuable ideas, recommendations, and insights that can help strengthen the proposal and make it more responsive, practical, and beneficial to the people of Basilan.

For BAYDA, this is a meaningful example of how youth participation and constructive dialogue with public leaders can contribute to better governance and community development.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, listen, and improve our ideas through the guidance of experienced public servants.

When young people are given the opportunity to speak, and leaders are willing to listen, meaningful change becomes possible.

📖 𝗔𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗽 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻?

‎Ang katapatan ng layunin (الإخلاص) Ang pundasyon ng lahat ng gawain at siyang dahilan ng pagtanggap ng mga ito sa paningin ni Allah.
‎Sinabi ni Allah ﷻ:
‎﴿وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ﴾
‎"At sila ay hindi inutusan maliban sa sambahin si Allah nang may ganap na katapatan sa Kanya sa relihiyon." (Surah Al-Bayyinah 98:5)
‎
At sinabi ng Sugo ni Allah ﷺ:
‎«إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى»
‎"Katotohanan, ang mga gawain ay nakabatay sa mga layunin, at ang bawat tao ay magkakamit lamang ng ayon sa kanyang intensiyon." (Sahih Al-Bukhari at Sahih Muslim)
‎
‎Ang mga Salaf ay hindi nakaabot sa mataas na antas ng kaalaman at kabutihan maliban sa pamamagitan ng katapatan ng layunin.
‎
‎Sinabi ni Abu Bakr Al-Marwadhi رحمه الله:
‎سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ - وَذَكَرَ لَهُ الصِّدْقَ وَالإِخْلَاصَ، فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: «بِهَذَا ارْتَفَعَ الْقَوْمُ».
‎"Narinig ko ang isang lalaki na nagsalita kay Abu Abdullah (Imam Ahmad) tungkol sa katotohanan at katapatan. Kaya sinabi ni Abu Abdullah: 'Sa pamamagitan ng dalawang ito, naitaas ang antas ng mga tao.'"
‎
‎Ang katapatan sa paghahanap ng kaalaman ay natutupad sa apat na layunin:
‎
‎1. Alisin ang kamangmangan sa sarili.
‎2. Alisin ang kamangmangan sa iba sa pamamagitan ng pagtuturo.
‎3. Buhayin at pangalagaan ang kaalaman.
‎4. Isabuhay ang natutuhang kaalaman.
‎
‎Ang kaalaman ay parang puno, at ang pagsasabuhay nito ang bunga. Kaya ang kaalaman ay hinahangad upang maisagawa, hindi lamang upang malaman.
‎
‎Ang mga Salaf ay labis na nangangamba na mawala ang kanilang katapatan sa paghahanap ng kaalaman.
‎
‎Sinabi ni Sufyan Ath-Thawri رحمه الله:
‎قِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ: مَا أَشَدُّ شَيْءٍ عَالَجْتَهُ؟ قَالَ: «نِيَّتِي؛ لِأَنَّهَا تَتَقَلَّبُ عَلَيَّ».
‎"Tinanong si Sufyan Ath-Thawri: 'Ano ang pinakamahirap mong nilabanan?' Sumagot siya: 'Ang aking layunin (niyyah), sapagkat ito ay pabago-bago.'"
‎
‎At sinabi ni Hishām Ad-dastawāi رحمه الله:
‎وَاللَّهِ مَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَقُولَ: إِنِّي ذَهَبْتُ يَوْمًا أَطْلُبُ الْحَدِيثَ أُرِيدُ بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
‎"Isinusumpa ko kay Allah, hindi ko kayang sabihin na may araw na lumabas ako upang maghanap ng Hadith na wala akong ibang layunin kundi ang Mukha ni Allah."
‎
Nang tanungin si Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله:
‎قِيلَ لِلْإِمَامِ أَحْمَدَ: هَلْ طَلَبْتَ الْعِلْمَ لِلَّهِ؟ فَقَالَ: «أَمَّا لِلَّهِ فَعَزِيزٌ، وَلَكِنْ شَيْءٌ أَحْبَبْتُهُ فَطَلَبْتُهُ».
‎"Tinanong si Imam Ahmad: 'Hinangad mo ba ang kaalaman para lamang kay Allah?' Sumagot siya: 'Napakadakila niyan! Ngunit ang kaalaman ay isang bagay na minahal ko, kaya hinangad ko ito.'"
‎
‎At sinabi ni Sulayman Al-Hashimi رحمه الله:
‎رُبَّمَا أُحَدِّثُ بِحَدِيثٍ وَاحِدٍ وَلِي فِيهِ نِيَّةٌ، فَإِذَا أَتَيْتُ عَلَى بَعْضِهِ تَغَيَّرَتْ نِيَّتِي، فَإِذَا الْحَدِيثُ الْوَاحِدُ يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى نِيَّاتٍ.
‎"Maaaring magsalaysay ako ng isang Hadith habang iisa ang aking layunin, ngunit kapag umabot ako sa ibang bahagi nito ay nagbabago ang aking layunin. Kaya maging ang isang Hadith ay nangangailangan ng paulit-ulit na pagwawasto ng layunin."
‎
‎Ang sinumang mawalan ng katapatan sa layunin ay maaaring magkaroon ng napakaraming kaalaman, ngunit kakaunti lamang ang pakinabang nito. Ang tunay na kaalaman ay yaong nagpapadalisay sa puso, nagtutuwid ng layunin, at nag-uudyok sa pagsasabuhay ng katotohanan.

𝟮𝗡𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗨𝗛𝗔̄𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗛 |

Sa biyaya at pahintulot ni Allah ﷻ, matagumpay nating naisagawa ang ating Virtual Muhadara. Tunay na ang bawat pagtitipon para sa paghahanap ng kapaki-pakinabang na kaalaman ay isang biyayang nararapat nating ipagpasalamat.

Taos-puso kaming nagpapasalamat sa ating panauhing tagapagsalita at sa bawat isa na naglaan ng oras upang makiisa sa programang ito. Ang inyong suporta at pagpapahalaga sa kaalaman ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon upang patuloy nating itaguyod ang mga gawaing nag-aanyaya sa kabutihan at nagpapalaganap ng tamang kaalaman.

Nawa'y tanggapin ni Allah ﷻ ang ating mga pagsisikap, pagpalain ang ating mga puso ng kapaki-pakinabang na kaalaman, at gawin tayong kabilang sa mga nagsasabuhay at nagpapalaganap nito.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Our organization proudly participated in the periodic Program Review and Evaluation initiated by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), bringing together registered youth organizations in Basilan to assess and enhance the implementation of Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs).

The activity served as an avenue to evaluate our initiatives, share experiences, identify challenges, and explore better strategies that contribute to more responsive and impactful youth engagement aligned with the goals of the Bangsamoro Youth Development Plan (BYDP).

As youth leaders and changemakers, we remain committed to creating meaningful programs that empower communities and respond to the evolving needs of Bangsamoro youth.
