There are things in life we can negotiate.

But our intimacy with Christ should not be one of them.

When work becomes busy, we don't negotiate Jesus away.

When family gets complicated, we don't negotiate Jesus away.

When ministry becomes overwhelming, we don't negotiate Jesus away.

Jesus remains first.

Not because everything else is unimportant, but because nothing else belongs in His place. ๐Ÿ™Œ

When we think about witnessing, we sometimes become overly concerned with how to share the Gospel. We worry about finding the perfect words, using the right method, or having all the answers.

The message of the Gospel has never been in our methods, creativity, or eloquence, it has always been in Jesus Christ.

Our methods may vary, but our message must never change.

The message is not ourselves.
The message is not our opinions.
The message is not our church.

The message is Christ, the only Savior who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.

So let us not be consumed with finding the perfect method. Be faithful in proclaiming the perfect Savior.
