Elder Calmona from Las Piñas 1st Ward shared his powerful testimony on how FSY helped him on preparing a mission.

There have been many moments in my life when I questioned myself and wondered if I was strong enough to face the challenges before me. There were times when I felt afraid, discouraged, and uncertain about the future. But as I look back now, I can clearly see that Heavenly Father never left my side. Even in the small and simple moments, He was answering my prayers, strengthening my faith, and reminding me that I was never alone.

One of the greatest blessings that changed my life was attending FSY. I expected to have fun and make new friends, but I found something much more meaningful. I felt the Savior's love in a way I had never experienced before. Through the devotionals, the music, the testimonies, and the people around me, I felt the Holy Ghost testify that I am a child of God and that Jesus Christ knows me personally. That experience helped me draw closer to Him and strengthened my desire to follow Him more faithfully.

I am also grateful for my church leaders and my fellow youth. Their examples, encouragement, and testimonies have helped me stay on the covenant path. They reminded me that we are never meant to walk this journey alone and that we can strengthen one another as disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon has become a source of peace and strength in my life. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or unsure, I turn to its pages and find hope. It continually reminds me that Jesus Christ understands every trial I face and that through Him, I can always find comfort, direction, and the strength to keep moving forward.

I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. It has brought countless blessings into my life and has helped me become closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior. Their love has changed me, and I know They continue to guide me every day.

I testify that Jesus Christ lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, that Heavenly Father loves each of us perfectly, and that as we trust Him and follow His gospel, He will lead us one step at a time.

I say these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen

From Parañaque 2nd Ward to the mission field—Sister Gigantoca’s inspiring journey is one of faith, growth, and courage

I’m really grateful for FSY and how it helped prepare me for my mission. One moment that really stayed with me was during the devotionals and scripture study activities. As we listened and then opened the scriptures, I always felt the holy ghost and being more closer to Jesus Christ.

FSY helped me see that missionary preparation isn’t just learning what to say—it’s learning how to recognize and invite the Spirit at all times and in all places. It taught me to take scripture study seriously, to listen for promptings, and to let his words change me. I felt my testimony get deeper and more personal, and I felt more sure that I really want to share his love towards his children.

FSY isn’t just a normal activity, it’s a preparation for us and to know more about Jesus Christ and his gospel. It changes lives, deepens our testimony and strengthens our faith in Jesus Christ.

I testify that Jesus Christ lives and that He is the reason I want to serve. He knows the desires of our hearts and he hears every prayer from us. Because of him, i am able to share his love with the people who long for him. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that it brings peace, direction, and power to change. And i testify that as we strive and walk with him we will overcome the challenges that will help us become the person he wants us to be. I know that he loves you, and he will never leave you.

i say these things in the name of our savior and redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Because of FSY, I’m reminded to look unto Christ: “Doubt not, fear not.”

Sister Pilande shared her testimony on how FSY greatly impacted herself and also her mission journey.

During one of our morning devotionals at FSY, we were asked to write down our fears. Seeing that list made me feel unworthy, incapable, and scared. But then we were asked to write again—this time, listing the qualities of Jesus Christ. As I looked at that list, I realized His qualities are far greater than my fears and that He is with me and can help me through the enabling and redeeming power of His Atonement. In that moment, I felt the Savior’s and our Heavenly Father’s sweetest love again. That strengthened my desire to serve a mission and to share that love. I know that whatever happens along the way, He will help me as I act with a righteous desire to serve.

An experience that began as a week of learning and fellowship at FSY transformed into a profound spiritual turning point. Guided by the Holy Spirit, this youth committed to follow the Savior through the covenant of baptism.

Sister Catherine Gregorio from Parañaque 4th Ward shares her testimony:

This day is very special to me because I've been waiting for this moment for three years. Yes po since 2023 pa po ako nandito sa church. I've been praying and hoping that this day would finally come. Hindi ko na po sasabihin ang buong dahilan because it's a family matter po yung reason why I can't be baptized agad, but Heavenly Father knows every tear, every prayer, and every time I almost lost hope.

There were many times when I asked myself, "Lord, when will my time come?" Minsan pakiramdam ko sobrang tagal ng paghihintay. But looking back now, I realize that God was never late. He was preparing me. He was strengthening my faith, teaching me patience, and reminding me to trust Him even when I couldn't understand His plan.

One thing that really helped strengthen my desire to be baptized was attending FSY. Through that experience, I felt Heavenly Father's love in a very personal way. I learned more about Jesus Christ, strengthened my testimony, and my desire to follow Him. FSY reminded me that no matter what challenges I was facing, I could always trust in Heavenly father's plan for me.

Today, as I stand here, my heart is so full of gratitude. Sobrang saya ko po because I can finally say that I'm here. Looking back, I can truly see Heavenly Father's hand in my life. Every challenge, every delay, and every prayer that seemed unanswered led me to this very moment. His timing is always perfect, even when we don't understand it at first.

I also want to say thank you to my fellow youth, my friends, and our leaders. Thank you for never giving up on me, for your guidance, your encouragement, and for always reminding me to keep my faith in Jesus Christ.

I know that Heavenly Father lives and that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I know that this Church is true, and I ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ out lord, amen.

Elder Glennz-Fort Tuazon from Medicion Ward shared his powerful testimony on how FSY helped him on preparing a mission.

Bago po ako mag-share ng testimony sa inyo, nais ko lamang po i-share na ako po ay magse-serve ng mission sa Philippines Cebu Mission, at masaya po ako at natanggap ko po ang calling ko na ito.

Sobrang thankful ko talaga na naka-attend ako ng FSY, dati kasi feel ko pag sumama ako, parang wala akong makikilala o makakausap na mga youth, pero may sinabi sa Matthew 28:20 ..."and, lo, i am with you always even unto the end of the world."

Alam ko po na lahat ng sinabi ko ay totoo at si President Dallin H. Oaks ang buhay nating propeta, at iniiwan ko po ito in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Elder Cervantes from Pamplona Ward shares his testimony on what he learned from FSY and how it helped him preparing on a mission.

Before FSY, I felt very lost. I felt alone; my mind was clouded with doubts and fears. I felt unworthy. It made me very hesitant to join FSY. One of my closest friends, who is also like a brother to me—shout out sa'yo, Marko Condez!—highly encouraged me to join and make the most of my last FSY as a participant. Otw sa FSY facility, I was sitting alone in my bus seat, and when I noticed that we were close na sa facility, I silently prayed. I prayed that my choice to join FSY would be worth it. I prayed for answers to my questions, one of them being, “Is it the right time now to go and serve a mission?”

During the FSY workshops, the Lord did answer my prayers: “If ye have the desire to serve the Lord, ye are called to the work.” (D&C 4:3)

After FSY, I felt confident in myself—confident that I know the Lord will always be with me. This favorite scripture verse of mine helps remind me of that:

Alma 26:12
“Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore, I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in His strength I can do all things...”

I finally came to learn and understand what the youth theme meant last year: “Look unto Me; doubt not, fear not.” (D&C 6:36)

FSY is a perfect activity and a great time to get to know and be closer to our Savior, know our purpose, serve and love His children.

I testify that the Lord hears and answers our prayers. There is no isolated place in our life that the Lord’s light cannot reach. The Lord always has His arms extended, reaching for us. There has been a time in my life when I felt lost; my mind was clouded with doubts and fears. But as I trust the Lord, I came to understand and learn His plan for me. Na-realize ko na, through the trials I’ve experienced, He was refining and shaping me into the person He wants me to be.

I bear witness that feelings of unworthiness, loneliness, and getting lost ay hindi patunay na iniwan na tayo ng Panginoon. Bagkus, ito ay patunay ng Kanyang pagmamahal. Trials help strengthen our faith and testimony. They invite us to draw closer to the Lord and access His healing power.

I say these things in the sacred name of our King, Jesus Christ, amen!

From Imus 2nd Ward to the mission field—Sister Mari’s journey is a testament of faith, growth, and courage 🤍✨

“Just like other teenagers, I struggled to keep up with what the world offers. My first FSY was during the pandemic, and I thought it would be boring—but those 5 days changed everything. I began to see the beauty of the Gospel and gained my own testimony of Jesus Christ.
At my last FSY, I had a question in my heart: ‘Should I prepare to serve a mission?’ The desire was there, but I lacked the willingness. After that experience, I felt fulfilled, inspired, and ready. I held on to that burning desire—and now, I’m acting on it.
I know that Heavenly Father knows each of us by name. He understands our struggles and helps us become who we are meant to be.”

Our FSY Participant, Sister Calim from Parañaque 4th Ward shares her testimony on how FSY and the power of faith helped her to go on a mission.

Enduring to the end is the ultimate test of our faith, and while it is not easy in our time due to the pressures and temptations around us, I testify that if we stand for what is right, our challenges become bearable.

I know that if we follow the Lord, everything else will follow and we need not worry about our needs. Loving others as the Savior loves us eases the burden of loneliness in our struggles; I have felt this love personally through the help of others at church, FSY, and youth conferences. This Christlike love developed my desire to serve a mission and share the gospel, which comforts me when I am alone. I know that through prayer we talk to God, and through the scriptures, He answers us.

When my mission call brought challenges that tested my resolve, I returned to the beginning—remembering how the gospel changed me and how the Lord has blessed me on the covenant path. I want to share those blessings with all of Heavenly Father’s children.

I know this is the true Church, led by a living prophet and the restored gospel. I have seen how powerful prayer and scriptures are when paired with action, for faith without works is dead. Showing love to others is how I work with my faith.

This testimony is built on my experiences staying on the covenant path, which helps us become the better people the Lord wants us to be. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Sister Santillan from Las Piñas 1st Ward shares her testimony on what she learned from FSY and how it helped her preparing on a mission.

I still remember standing backstage during the musical program at FSY, serving as one of the narrators. As the choir began singing “I Will Walk With Jesus,” I felt the Spirit so strongly. One line especially stuck with me: “Standing by my Savior, safe within His care. Step by step I’ll follow, and His love I’ll share.”

At that time, I was going through a season of doubt. But as those words were sung, it felt as if the Savior was reaching into my heart, telling me that I am held in His love and that He will lead me every step of the way. The joy I felt was too great that I couldn’t help but want others to feel it too. That’s when I became fully decided to serve a mission.

I am deeply grateful for FSY, because it didn’t just help me come to know the Savior more. It opened my eyes to see myself and others as He sees us, as children of God who are known, cherished, and never forgotten. And through serving others, we get to show that same love in action.

I’m deeply grateful for the chance to let God work through me, to serve others, and to open my own heart to His love. Walking with Him in service allows His light to shine through us, bringing hope to those who are struggling, joy to those who feel lost, and a peace that can only come from Him.

I testify that Jesus Christ lives. I testify that His gospel is true, and that His Church has been restored to guide, teach, and bless all of God’s children. And I testify that as we walk with Him, He will be there in every step, lifting us when we fall, comforting us when we struggle, and helping us reach our divine potential.

I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
