SERMON 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏 | “Don’t Live Only for the RED Part”
Last Sunday, we were reminded through God’s Word in Colossians 3:1–2 that this life is only temporary, but eternity is forever. Using the powerful “rope illustration,” Ptr. Tirso shared how our earthly life is just a small “red part” compared to endless eternity.

So many people spend their whole lives chasing temporary things - success, pleasure, comfort, recognition - while forgetting that heaven and hell are eternal realities. What we do in this short “RED part” affects eternity.

Main Takeaway: "'Don't focus on what fades, focus on what lasts."
Set your mind on Christ and eternal things, not only on temporary earthly things.

Practical Application: • This week, pause and ask yourself: “Am I living only for temporary things, or am I truly living for Jesus and eternity?”

May we use our time, resources, opportunities, and lives for what truly matters. Don’t waste your life living only for the RED part. Christ came not just to improve our lives, but to save us and give eternal life to all who trust in Him.

Thank you, Ptr. Tirso, for the timely and meaningful reminder from God’s Word. ❤️
📖 “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” — Colossians 3:2

👉 This week, choose one practical way to live with eternity in mind:
• Spend time with God daily
• Share Christ with someone
• Serve faithfully
• Let go of sinful distractions
• Put Jesus first again
Because a life lived for Christ is never wasted.🥰😇🙏

📖 SERMON RECAP | by Ptr. Tirso Zagada
Text: 2 Chronicles 7:14
Theme: “When God Heals the Land”

Yesterday’s message was both timely and deeply challenging as we reflected on God’s Word in light of the current situation in our nation. Many churches across the Philippines have been calling for urgent prayer as our country faces growing tension and uncertainty. From the recent gunfire incident in the Senate, political division and impeachment issues, rising prices that continue to burden many Filipino families, increasing lawlessness, fear, violence, and corruption—many people today are carrying anxiety, frustration, and heaviness in their hearts.

Through our text, we were reminded that this verse is not simply a “formula” for national healing, but a call for God’s people to return to Him with humility, repentance, prayer, and surrender. Ptr. Tirso emphasized the importance of understanding the context of the passage—that God originally spoke these words to Solomon and Israel under the Old Covenant—but also showed how the passage still reveals God’s heart for His people today.

One of the strongest reminders from the sermon was this: • Healing begins when God’s people return to Him with humble and surrendered hearts.
The message walked us through the four calls found in the verse: • humble themselves,
• pray,
• seek God’s face,
• and turn from wicked ways.

We were reminded that true repentance is not only about asking God to fix the problems around us, but allowing Him to transform the condition of our own hearts first. Sometimes we are quick to point at the sins of society while ignoring: • pride, • bitterness, • prayerlessness, • spiritual coldness, • gossip, • unforgiveness, • and self-reliance in our own lives.

The sermon also beautifully pointed us back to Jesus Christ—the true source of healing, forgiveness, and hope. Our confidence is not in politics, human solutions, or even our own efforts, but in Christ who humbled Himself for us, intercedes for us, and invites weary sinners to come back to Him.

One practical challenge given to the church was simple but powerful: • Pray before reacting.
• Seek God before worrying.
• Return to Christ daily.
Revival does not usually begin with noise and crowds—it often begins quietly in surrendered hearts, in homes, in prayer meetings, and in ordinary believers sincerely seeking God again.

A gentle reflection question shared during the message: “Am I only asking God to change the nation around me, or am I allowing Him to change my own heart too?”
We thank the Lord for using Ptr. Tirso to bring such a timely, warm, and Christ-centered message to the church. Truly, even in uncertain times, our hope remains in Jesus alone.

As a church family, let us continue lifting up our nation in prayer: • for peace, • for wisdom among leaders, • for protection, • for justice, • and above all, for hearts to return to God.
May the Lord heal our land by first healing our hearts. 🇵🇭🙏

𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏 | “𝐁𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖”:
In a world filled with war, uncertainty, financial pressure, and personal struggles,

Psalm 46 reminds us that we do not have to live in fear. Through the timely and meaningful message shared by Ptr. Tirso, we were reminded that we can truly be still because God is our:
• Refuge — when life feels unstable
• Rescuer — when we feel helpless and alone
• Rest — when our hearts are tired and overwhelmed
One powerful reminder from the message was this: “Knowing God” is more than information — it is recognizing and trusting who He truly is. He is all-knowing, always present, all-powerful, faithful, and good. Because of that, we can stop striving, stop controlling everything, and surrender our fears to Him.
We were also encouraged by the picture of “the God of Jacob.” Jacob was broken, imperfect, and a struggler — yet God never gave up on him. What a comforting truth for all of us. Our weakness is not the end of our story; sometimes it becomes the very place where we learn to depend on God more deeply.
📖 “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

As we go through this week, let’s reflect:
*When life feels like a storm, do I respond with fear or trust in God?
*What area of my life do I need to surrender and simply “be still” before Him?

🙏 This week, choose prayer over panic, trust over control, and rest in the presence of Christ. He may not remove every storm immediately, but His presence gives peace in the middle of it.😇

This Sunday's message from Ptr. Ed. on 2 Peter 1:1–11 reminded us of a powerful truth: in Christ, we are called not just to believe, but to grow. Faith is the beginning, but God desires that our lives reflect a growing, active, and intentional transformation shaped by His divine nature.

The heart of the message is simple yet challenging: we are called to live a virtues-filled life. Virtue is described as “the habit of doing good”, a stable life shaped by goodness, character, and godly actions. As believers, we are not left stagnant; we are invited to grow intentionally in Christlike character.

Peter gives us a beautiful progression of growth in 2 Peter 1:5–7:
Faith → Virtue
Virtue → Knowledge
Knowledge → Self-control
Self-control → Perseverance
Perseverance → Godliness
Godliness → Brotherly kindness
Brotherly kindness → Love
This reminds us that spiritual growth is not automatic—it is something we add with diligence, step by step, as we walk with God daily.

One key takeaway for us is this: character is one of the most important investments we can make in life. God created us to be agents of goodness in a world that desperately needs it. As we grow in virtue, we reflect Christ more clearly to the people around us—our families, workplaces, and community.

A gentle reflection for this week:
Which “virtue” in your life is God inviting you to intentionally grow right now?
May we be encouraged that this journey is not done in our own strength, but through the divine power and presence of God working in us.

Let’s walk this week with this encouragement: God is not just saving us from something. He is shaping us into someone like Christ. May we continue to grow in faith, love, and character as we follow Him daily.

🙏 Call to Action: Let’s take one intentional step this week. Pray, reflect, and practice one virtue from today’s message. Share this message, encourage someone, and let’s grow together in Christlikeness.

Thank you, Ptr. Ed., for the timely and meaningful reminder that a life of virtue leads us closer to the heart of God and an abundant entrance into His everlasting kingdom.😇

Have you ever prayed, believed, and trusted God deeply… only to see things go the opposite way? Yung instead of breakthrough, parang breakdown. Instead of open doors, biglang sarado lahat. Moments like these can shake us, but they also invite us to trust God in a deeper way.

Last Sunday, we were reminded through Romans 8:28 that God is always working for our good, even when life doesn’t make sense. Hindi man nangyari ang inaasahan natin, it doesn’t mean God has stopped being good. His plans go beyond what we can see, and His purpose is always at work.

We saw this kind of faith in the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who declared, “God is able… but even if He does not, we will still trust Him.” That’s real faith, anchored not in outcomes, but in God’s character.

We were also blessed with a real-life testimony through Sister Tina’s story. We saw how God worked all things together for her good even in difficult seasons. It reminded us that what God promises in His Word, He truly does in real life.

Here’s our simple takeaway for the week:
👉 God’s goodness is not based on our expected outcome
👉 God is working in the bigger picture—even when we don’t see it
👉 God can use even our hardest moments for His purpose

Reflection: When life doesn’t go your way, can you still trust that God is good?
This week, be encouraged—your story is still in God’s hands. He is working, moving, and shaping everything for your good, even now.

We thank God for Ptr. Tirso for this timely and meaningful message that strengthened our faith. Above all, it points us to Jesus—where the cross looked like defeat, but became the greatest victory.

Call to Action: This week, surrender one situation you don’t understand to God. Pray and say, “Lord, I trust You, even if.” Keep believing! God is working for your good. 🙏😇🤗

This Sunday’s message, “Shake It Off” from Acts 28:1–6, reminded us that even in the middle of doing God’s will, challenges can still come. Just like Paul the Apostle, who was helping others when the viper struck, we, too, may face unexpected moments that try to shake our faith.

The heart of the message is this: Don’t let what attaches to you define you> shake it off and keep going with God. Paul didn’t panic, complain, or quit. He simply shook off the snake and trusted God, and God proved faithful.

Here’s what we were encouraged to shake off:
*Discouragement – it can come even when you’re doing the right thing
*Criticism – people may misunderstand or judge you
*Low expectations – others may think less of what God can do in you
Practical takeaway: When something negative tries to cling to your heart this week, don’t hold on to it—bring it to God and choose to move forward in faith.

Reflection question: What “viper” do I need to shake off so I can continue walking in God’s purpose?

As we go through this week, may we be encouraged to trust God in every situation and keep serving with faith and courage. Our strength comes from Christ, who sustains us through every trial.

We also thank our speaker Ptr. Audie Castillo for this timely and meaningful message, especially for our church leaders who are faithfully serving. May this be a reminder to keep pressing on in the ministry God has entrusted to you.

Call to Action: This week, take one step of faith and release what’s weighing you down, shake it off, and keep moving forward with Jesus. 🥰😇🙏

Yesterday, we celebrated a joyful Resurrection Sunday as a church family, filled with worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving. We also had a special time recognizing our birthday celebrants and graduates, and enjoyed a truly sumptuous lunch together. Thank you to everyone who brought food, especially the beautiful grazing table! 🙌 God sees you. your labor is not in vain.

We are also grateful to Ptr. Tirso for the timely and meaningful message that reminded us of one powerful truth:
👉 Because Christ has risen, our faith is alive, our future is secure, and our labor for Him is never in vain.

The message walked us through a strong contrast:
*What if Christ did NOT rise? - then everything we believe would be empty.
* But in fact, Christ HAS risen! - and that changes everything.
*Because of the resurrection, sin is defeated and death has lost its sting.
*So now, we are called to respond.

Our simple takeaway for everyday life:
Stay grounded even when life feels uncertain
Keep serving even when you feel tired or unnoticed. Hold on to Jesus - our living hope. Because the truth is: nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted.

As we go into this week, here’s a gentle question to reflect on:
👉 How should the reality that Jesus is alive shape the way I live today?

Let’s keep trusting, keep serving, and keep hoping in Christ. Your prayers, your service, your love- God sees it all. 💛
Because He lives, your life has purpose. Your future is secure. And your labor is not in vain.🥰😇😊

“Breakfast at the Beach”: Holy Week Reflection by Bro. Louie Diangson😇

Really appreciate this reflection. It’s simple, honest, and points us straight back to Jesus. I love how it shows the difference between running away in guilt and coming back in repentance. Peter’s story reminds us that failure is not the end when we return to the Lord.

That moment of him jumping out of the boat, no hesitation, really hits home. Ganun din tayo, we just need to come back. And on the shore, Jesus already waiting… ready to receive us.

Thank you, Bro. Louie, for this timely Holy Week reflection. Church family, take time to reflect and feel free to share yours too. 🙏

On Palm Sunday yesterday, we were reminded of this beautiful truth: “Your King has come.” 🙌 From John 12:9–18, we saw that Jesus is not distant. He comes near to real people in real situations. Thank you, Ptr. Audie, for such a timely and meaningful message. We missed hearing you, and it truly blessed us!

Jesus came bringing what our hearts need most:
*Source of Life – hope in seasons of fear and uncertainty
*King of Kings – someone we can trust beyond changing times
*Prince of Peace – calm even in global tensions and conflicts
*Giver of Good News – hope stronger than bad news

When the crowd shouted “Hosanna!”, they were crying out, “Lord, save us now!” It wasn’t just praise—it was surrender, desperation, and dependence. Today, that same cry is ours. Sa gitna ng Middle East conflict at pagtaas ng presyo dahil sa fuel costs, we also say, “Lord, save us. We need You.”

Indeed, Jesus is not just a King to admire, but a King to trust and depend on. Hindi lang lip service, real surrender, real trust, real hope in Him.

Simple application this week:
*Pray “Hosanna” daily – bring your needs and worries honestly to God
*Trust God as Provider – kahit mahal ang bilihin, He will sustain
*Choose peace – reflect Christ’s peace in your home and conversations
Reflection question: Is my “Hosanna” just words, or a real surrender to Jesus as my King?

As we go through this week, may we not miss our King. Kahit magulo ang mundo, our King is present, powerful, and faithful.

👉 Call to Action: This week, take a moment each day to say, “Jesus, You are my King. Ikaw ang bahala.” Surrender your worries and walk in His peace.
Because our King has come and in Christ, we have life, peace, and saving grace. 👑🙏
