Why do we serve?
Is it simply because of the beautiful music the choir creates, the harmonies, the blending of voices, and the wonderful pieces we get to sing? Is it because of the concerts, the applause, and the recognition?
But if that is the only reason we are here, then we must ask ourselves: why do we call it “service” if we, as members, do not truly understand the real meaning of that word?
Serving is not just about singing well. It is not about performance, titles, or being seen. Service is about "Offering" our time, talent, and heart to God, even when it is inconvenient, tiring, or unappreciated. It is about humility, commitment, sacrifice, and faithfulness.
Because in the end, we are not singing for ourselves.... we are singing for Him. ☝️🙏
