The recent earthquake reminded us of something we often forget.

It only takes a few seconds for the things we thought were stable to start shaking.

Buildings.
Plans.
Schedules.
Certainties.

And if we're honest, many of us are experiencing our own earthquakes too.
Not in the ground beneath our feet.

But in our hearts.

Questions we cannot answer.
Battles we cannot control.
Fears we do not talk about.

Everything feels uncertain.
Everything feels shaky.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1

The truth is, God never promised that life would be free from shaking.

But He did promise to be our refuge in the middle of it.

Maybe that is why difficult seasons reveal where we have been placing our trust.
Because when everything else shakes, only what is built on God remains.

So if life feels unstable right now, do not panic.
Run to the One who never changes.

The ground may shake.
Your emotions may shake.
Your circumstances may shake.
But God remains the same.

And sometimes that is all the stability we need. ❤️‍🔥

In a world that often feels divided, the joy of youth coming together to break bread is a powerful testament to unity and love in Christ. Sharing a meal transcends mere nourishment; it fosters connections, builds friendships, and creates a space where the message of Christ can flourish. As young people gather around the table, laughter and conversations flow freely, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and warmth. There is such a unique, vibrant energy when youth come together to simply break bread and share life. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a time to let our guards down, share a laugh, and be completely silly, knowing we are safe in His love. This kind of fellowship reminds us of the early church, where, as Acts 2:46-47 tells us, they broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and generous hearts, creating a space where the message of Christ could truly flourish.

We are so incredibly grateful for what the Lord is doing right here in Imus at the New Beginnings Worldwide Mission Youth Ministry. It’s amazing to watch friendships deepen through the lens of faith, and we’re constantly reminded that we don’t have to do life alone because, as Jesus promised in Matthew 18:20, where two or three are gathered in His name, He is right there among us. Whether we’re diving into deep conversations about the Gospel or just goofing around, His presence is the common thread that makes everything feel like an abundant adventure.

We want you to be part of this community where you can be yourself, laugh, and grow in the blessings of Jesus Christ. There is something truly special about the bond we share, and we’ve found that it’s deeply true, as the Psalmist says in Psalm 133:1, that it is good and pleasant when brothers and sisters dwell together in unity. There’s a seat waiting for you at our table—come experience the joy with us.

There is a weight to intercession that cannot be carried casually.

To stand in the gap is not just to speak words into the air..it is to stand before God with reverence, and before people with burden. And that kind of standing requires something deeper than passion. It requires purity.

A hand that lifts in prayer cannot be clenched in hidden compromise. A heart that carries others before the throne cannot be crowded with what competes with God. A mouth that speaks life cannot be trained in the language of offense, gossip, and unchecked desires.

Because intercession is not just warfare: it is representation. And what we tolerate in secret will eventually weaken what we carry in the spirit.

God is not looking for perfect vessels, but He does look for cleansed ones. Not polished performance, but surrendered hearts. Not noisy mouths, but disciplined tongues shaped by His presence.

There is a kind of prayer that shakes heaven and shifts earth, but it flows from a life that is aligned with heaven, not divided from it.

“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart…” (Psalm 24:3–4)

This is not about fear..it is about alignment. Not condemnation, but consecration. Because you cannot wage spiritual battles while entertaining what grieves the One you are asking to move.

Intercession begins long before the prayer closet. It begins in the hidden choices. In the private yeses. In the quiet surrender.

And when hands are clean, when the heart is undivided, when the mouth is disciplined, prayer becomes not just a request, but a release of heaven on earth ❤️‍🔥

"A person who is intimate with God has a life characterized by joy and will not enjoy too much entertainment in the world today."
— Leonard Ravenhill

This quote pierced my heart when I read it again from my notes. Because we live in a generation drowning in entertainment yet starving for true joy.

Many of us can spend hours scrolling, binge-watching, gaming, and consuming endless content, yet still feel empty when the screen goes dark. We seek amusement to fill a void that was never meant to be filled by the world.

The truth is, the more we taste the sweetness of God's presence, the less attractive the temporary pleasures of this world become.

A person who walks closely with Jesus does not lose joy...they discover a deeper joy.

A joy that does not depend on likes, views, trends, money, success, relationships, or circumstances. A joy that remains when life hurts. A joy that remains when prayers seem delayed. A joy that remains when the world offers nothing but noise.

The problem is not that entertainment exists. The problem begins when entertainment becomes our refuge instead of God.

When our first instinct is to reach for our phone instead of prayer. When we know every trending topic but barely know His voice. When we spend more time feeding our flesh than nourishing our spirit.

The closer you get to Jesus, the more you realize that nothing in this world compares to Him. The songs of this world grow quieter when you've heard the Shepherd's voice.

The attractions of this world lose their grip when you've seen the beauty of Christ. The temporary pleasures of earth become less satisfying when you've tasted the eternal joy found in His presence.

Perhaps the question we should ask ourselves today is not: "How much entertainment is too much?" But rather: "Have I become so entertained that I no longer hunger for God?"

Because intimacy with Jesus does not make life boring. It makes everything else seem small compared to Him.

May God restore our appetite for His presence. May we delight in His Word more than our screens. May we treasure His voice more than the noise of this world.

And may our hearts become so captivated by Jesus that nothing on earth can compete with Him ❤️‍🔥
