GOSPEL OF THE DAY

But the Pharisees went out and took counsel against him, how to destroy him.

Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all,

and ordered them not to make him known.

This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

"Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

He will not wrangle or cry aloud, nor will any one hear his voice in the streets;

he will not break a bruised reed or quench a smoldering wick, till he brings justice to victory;

and in his name will the Gentiles hope."

𝗣𝗒π—ͺπ—˜π—₯π—™π—¨π—Ÿ 𝗠𝗒𝗑𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗠𝗒π—₯π—‘π—œπ—‘π—š π——π—˜π—–π—Ÿπ—”π—₯π—”π—§π—œπ—’π—‘ 𝗣π—₯π—”π—¬π—˜π—₯

Heavenly Father, I welcome this Monday morning with thanksgiving and praise, for You have blessed me with the gift of a new day and a new week. I rejoice in Your unfailing love and entrust this day completely into Your hands. Your Word says, β€œThe Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts” (Psalm 28:7). I declare that this Monday is blessed by the Lord, and every step I take today will be guided by Your wisdom and sustained by Your grace.

I declare that the Lord is opening new doors of favor, peace, and opportunity according to His holy will. Your Word declares, β€œThe heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9). I will not be discouraged by delays or distracted by obstacles, because God is directing my path. I receive the wisdom to make righteous decisions, the strength to overcome every challenge, and the courage to walk faithfully wherever the Lord leads me.

I declare that my life, my family, my home, my work, and my ministry are under the protection of Almighty God. Your Word says, β€œThe eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms” (Deuteronomy 33:27). I am held securely in His love. The Most Precious Blood of Jesus covers me, the Holy Spirit strengthens me, and God's holy angels watch over me throughout this day. No fear, no discouragement, and no trial will separate me from the peace of Christ.

I declare that this new week will bear fruit for the glory of God. Your Word says, β€œDelight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4). May everything I do today be pleasing in His sight. I receive fresh grace, renewed hope, and steadfast faith. I believe that the Lord is already preparing blessings beyond my expectations, and I choose to begin this week with confidence, joy, and complete trust in His loving providence. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

CHURCH AFTER SCHOOL HITS DIFFERENTLY. β›ͺπŸ“šπŸ™

After a long day of classes, assignments, quizzes, and deadlines, there's a different kind of peace that no classroom can offer. Stepping into the quiet of a church, even for just a few minutes, reminds us that before we are students, we are beloved children of God.

Sometimes, all we need is to sit in His presence, lay down our worries, whisper a simple prayer, and let Him renew our strength.

Homework can wait a little while. A moment with Jesus can change the rest of your day.

"Come to me, all who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." β€” Matthew 11:28

GOSPEL OF THE DAY

"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master;

it is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.

"So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

What I tell you in the dark, utter in the light; and what you hear whispered, proclaim upon the housetops.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's will.

But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven;

but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY

And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity.

The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;

Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

These twelve Jesus sent out, charging them, "Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And preach as you go, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

REFLECTION:
Jesus called His twelve Apostles and gave them authority over unclean spirits and power to cure every disease. He sent them to the lost sheep of Israel with clear instructions: cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. "Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give."

The apostolic vocation begins with a personal call from Christ and is fulfilled in mission. Every Christian, through baptism, participates in this mission. We did not choose Godβ€”He chose us. And He sends us not with human resources but with the power of His grace.

Remember today that you are chosen and sent by Christ. Your mission begins in your family, your workplace, your community. Give freely what you have freely received.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY

"Do not give dogs what is holy; and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under foot and turn to attack you.

"Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?

Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

"Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life?

And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin;

yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith?

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?'

For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well.

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day."

"Beware of practicing your piety before men in order to be seen by them; for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

"Thus, when you give alms, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

so that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

"And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

You have heard that it was said, `An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'

But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also;

and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well;

and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.

Give to him who begs from you, and do not refuse him who would borrow from you.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY

"You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.

Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
