Your commitment to the priesthood reflects a life rooted in prayer, humility, and love for the Church. In moments of joy and in times of challenge, you have continued to shepherd God’s people with compassion, wisdom, and sincerity. For this, we offer our heartfelt thanks and prayers.

The celebration began with a Holy Mass, where the community came together in prayer and thanksgiving, emphasizing the importance of God’s Word and the vital role of children in the life of the Church.

Following the Mass, a lively Sinulog Street Dance and Showdown Competition was held in honor of Sto. Niño, showcasing the children’s talents, creativity, and devotion through colorful performances and joyful expressions of faith.

Simultaneously, academic and artistic activities were conducted, including a Bible Quiz Bee and a Poster Making Contest, with participation from all elementary schools in Santiago. These activities aimed to deepen the children’s knowledge of Sacred Scripture while encouraging creativity and teamwork.

The event was made possible by the grace of Sto. Niño, the guidance and support of Rev. Fr. Lester Joseph R. Plana, and the generosity of all the benefactors who contributed to the success of the celebration.

St. James the Greater Parish extends its heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, teachers, volunteers, parents, and participants who worked together to make the event spiritually enriching and memorable. The celebration reaffirmed the parish’s commitment to nurturing the faith of the young and promoting love for the Word of God.
