Kapeโ€™t Kaibigan @ St. Joseph Parish initiated by Candon Youth Movement

KAPEโ€™T KAIBIGAN is a community-building initiative by the Candon Youth Movement (also known as Candon Youth For Empowerment Movement, Inc.), a volunteer-led youth organization in Candon City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines focused on empowering local young people through active citizenship and community engagement. ๏ฟผ

The phrase โ€œKapeโ€™t Kaibiganโ€ literally means โ€œcoffee and friendsโ€, and the project is framed as a simple, informal gathering where people come together over coffee to sit down, talk, and connectโ€”promoting friendship, open dialogue, and social interaction among youth and community members. ๏ฟผ

As part of the Candon Youth Movementโ€™s broader efforts, Kapeโ€™t Kaibigan appears to be one of their featured activities during events meant to foster relational engagement and meaningful conversation within the community. ๏ฟผ

In essence, itโ€™s a youth-oriented social initiative that uses coffee and conversation as a way to build connections, encourage participation, and strengthen community ties among young people and other participants.

On this holy night, we are lovingly invited to come and see the greatest gift of allโ€”Jesus Christ, born in a humble manger. The Nativity reminds us that God draws near to us with tenderness, simplicity, and endless love.

Like the shepherds, we are invited to leave our worries behind and journey with open hearts to welcome the Savior. In the quiet of Bethlehem, we discover peace, hope, and joy meant for everyone.

May this Nativity open our hearts to receive Christ, renew our faith, and inspire us to share His love with our families, our community, and all whom we serve. Come, let us adore Him, for unto us a Savior is born.
