𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞

Renewal is spiritual, but it also becomes practical.
A renewed mind changes the way you use your time.
The way you speak.
The way you work.
The way you handle responsibilities.
The way you treat people.
The way you make decisions.

We sometimes want transformation to feel dramatic.
But much of God's work happens through ordinary obedience.

Getting up when you don't feel like it.
Doing what you said you would do.
Keeping your word.
Managing what God has entrusted to you.
Choosing discipline instead of convenience.

These things may not look spiritual from the outside.
But they reveal what is happening within.

God is not only interested in your Sunday worship.
He cares about your Monday habits.
Your private choices.
Your daily routines.
Your work ethic.
Your priorities.

Renewal is not simply about thinking differently.
It is eventually about living differently.

So don't underestimate small acts of obedience.
They are part of the transformation.

Let God renew your mind until His truth becomes visible in the way you live.

𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿! 🤍

In this week’s RENEWED message, we were reminded to fix our eyes on Jesus, walk by faith, and live according to the new identity we have in Christ.

And as those who have received the Gospel, we are also called to share it. The good news is meant to be shared.

May we continue to be a people who carry the hope of Christ and share it with those around us.

“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Fear can be loud.
It tells you to stay where you are.
Don't try.
Don't trust.
Don't step out.
Don't risk being disappointed again.

And sometimes fear sounds so reasonable that we mistake it for wisdom.

But fear was never meant to be your guide.

Paul reminds Timothy that God has given us a sound mind.

That means we don't have to make decisions from panic.

We can pause.
We can pray.
We can seek wisdom.
We can look at God's Word.

And then we can move forward in faith.

Faith doesn't mean you aren't afraid.
It means fear doesn't get to make the final decision.

There may be something God is asking you to do that feels uncomfortable.

Have the conversation.
Take the step.
Serve.
Start.
Apologize.
Let go.
Trust.

You don't need to feel fearless before you obey.
You need to trust the One who is with you.

A renewed mind doesn't deny fear.
It simply refuses to let fear become its master.

Romans 12:2 calls us to experience true transformation through the renewing of our minds. When God renews our thoughts, He also redirects our hearts, desires, and choices according to His perfect will.

May we continually surrender our thoughts to His Word, allow Him to renew our perspective, and trust Him to lead our lives according to His purpose.

Come and worship with us, receive His Word, and be transformed by the presence of Christ.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭

One of the hardest things to surrender is our own understanding.
We naturally assume that what makes sense to us must be right.

But our perspective is limited.

We see one moment.
God sees the whole story.

We see what is happening.
God sees what it will produce.

We see the immediate.
God sees the eternal.

That's why humility is essential to a renewed mind.

A renewed mind is teachable.

It can say,

“I might be wrong.”
“I don't understand yet.”
“God may be showing me something I cannot see.”

That's not insecurity.
That's wisdom.

Sometimes God will challenge an opinion you have held for years.
Sometimes His Word will confront a habit you have justified.
Sometimes He will lead you in a direction you wouldn't have chosen yourself.

When that happens, don't immediately defend yourself.

Listen.

Let God correct you.

The goal of renewal isn't to make God agree with your thinking.
It is to bring your thinking into agreement with Him.

So today, choose humility.

You don't have to know everything.

You simply need to remain willing to learn from the One who does.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮

You cannot renew your mind with an empty mind.
Something has to replace the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that no longer belong.

And that something is truth.

The Word of God doesn't simply give us information.
It reshapes us.

It corrects us when we're wrong.
It comforts us when we're hurting.
It warns us when we're drifting.
It reminds us when we forget who God is.

That's why Scripture needs to become more than something we read occasionally.

We need to hide it in our hearts.

Because there will be moments when you don't have your Bible open in front of you.

You'll be making a decision.
Facing temptation.
Feeling discouraged.
Dealing with disappointment.

And what you've stored in your heart will matter.

You can't always control what thought enters your mind.
But you can decide what truth you repeatedly put into it.

Read the Word.
Meditate on it.
Remember it.
Speak it.
Live it.

A renewed mind is continually being filled with God's truth.

“Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God...”
— Psalm 143:10 (NKJV)

𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥

Sometimes we want God's will to be obvious.
A clear sign.
A loud answer.
A perfect opportunity.

But David prayed something different:

“Teach me to do Your will.”

That prayer recognizes something important.

We don't automatically know how to follow God perfectly.
We need to be taught.

We need Scripture.
We need wisdom.
We need prayer.
We need the Holy Spirit.
We need humility.

And sometimes we need to make a decision, step forward, and trust God to guide us along the way.

Following God's will is not always about discovering one perfect decision.
Sometimes it is about becoming the kind of person who consistently chooses what honors Him.

So don't only ask,

“God, what should I do?”

Also ask,

“God, what are You teaching me?”

What is He developing in you?

Patience?
Courage?
Discipline?
Wisdom?
Surrender?
Faith?

God's will isn't only about where He is taking you.
It is also about what He is forming in you along the way.

Let Him teach you.
Let Him correct you.
Let Him lead you.

And let your desire be more than simply knowing His will.

Desire to do it.

𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬

We often ask God to bless our plans.
But sometimes what we really need is to give Him the plans themselves.

There is a difference.

“God, bless what I decided to do.”
And,
“God, show me what You want me to do.”

One keeps us in control.
The other puts God in His rightful place.

A renewed mind learns to hold plans with open hands.

You can work hard.
You can dream.
You can prepare.
You can pursue excellence.

But you can still surrender the outcome to God.

Because alignment with God's will doesn't mean you stop planning.
It means you stop treating your plans as more important than His direction.

So bring your plans to Him.

Your career.
Your relationships.
Your ministry.
Your finances.
Your future.

Ask not only for success.
Ask for alignment.

“Lord, if this is Your will, lead me. If it isn't, redirect me.”

That kind of prayer requires trust.
But it also brings freedom.

You don't have to force what God hasn't ordained.
You don't have to cling to what He is asking you to release.

Commit your plans to Him.
And trust Him to establish your steps.
