Box of Hope 2026: Restoring hope in the midst of disaster

As part of the churchโ€™s ongoing disaster relief response, the Box of Hope initiative reached the displaced learners of Juan Tabla Elementary School who were affected by the flooding brought by Typhoon Basyang.

Today, March 19, 2026, we had the joy of distributing these gifts to the children.

Now on its 13th year, Box of Hope continues to touch young livesโ€”having blessed over 3,700 children through the years. ๐Ÿ’›

This year, Iligan Church of the Nazarene, together with Nazaraios Community Development Foundation, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, and our generous donors, were able to prepare and distribute 104 boxes of hope.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers who gave their time and effort in purchasing, packing, and distributing these gifts.

Special thanks as well to the school communityโ€”especially Principal Maโ€™am Cristina Jabonete for warmly welcoming us, and Maโ€™am Rowena Macaliag for the coordination.

Together, we bring hopeโ€”one child at a time โœจ
