Our 34th Church Anniversary may have come to an end, but here's to more years of serving the Lord. To everyone who became part of this celebration: to our Pastors, our Speaker, Pastora Joyce A. Buyuccan, those from the different ministries, church family, visitors, ministry workers, and those who worked behind what was seen, our heartfelt gratitude to all of you. May we continue to unite for a greater cause: Having an Unquenchable Desire to serve God.

Message shared by Pastora Joyce A. Buyuccan:

Theme: Unquenchable Desire to Serve God

Point 1: It starts with the fire in the bones- Let's serve God because we can't not serve Him.

Point 2: It's fed not forced.
3 things that feed this desire:
1. Intimacy with God- Know the Lord or encounter the Lord first because we can't serve Him if we don't know Him. Let's fuel up first through prayer, quiet time, and His word.
-Let's serve out of love, not out of Duty
2. Remembering what He did- Do not forget how faithful He was and still is in our lives.
3. Seeing People Through His eyes- See people with eyes of love.

Point 3: It Perseveres Through Dry Seasons
-Serving is For the Lord

Let's keep the fire burning in our hearts and let no coldness dim this fire. In any season, let's serve the Lord, FOR THE LORD.

All glory, praises, honor, and adoration go to Him. 🙌❤️

ARISE AND SHINE: A Call for Young People to Shine for God’s Glory
The first Sunday of February 2026 marked a meaningful milestone for the youth of CITAC–Baguinge as the church successfully launched its Youth Fellowship, gathering young people from different churches in a spirit of unity, worship, and purpose.

Carrying the theme “Shining for God’s Glory,” the activity opened with a heartfelt song led by the CITAC–Baguinge music team, followed by an opening prayer that set a reverent and expectant atmosphere. The opening remarks highlighted the very reason behind the fellowship’s existence—to call young people to reflect Christ and shine for God’s glory, not only among their peers but also to those who look up to them as examples.

To warm up the crowd, an icebreaker activity energized the participants through a trivia-style question-and-answer segment, with enthusiastic participation coming especially from the host church. This was followed by a socialization activity where participants picked names from a cup and searched for the person they drew, creating opportunities for introductions, laughter, and new friendships.

Praise and worship followed, again led by the music team, allowing everyone to freely express their love, gratitude, and surrender to God. The atmosphere shifted into a deeper time of reflection as Pastor Robert Angiwan Jr., affectionately known as Pastor Jun, resident pastor of the host church, was introduced as the speaker of the Word.

Anchored on Matthew 5:16, which says, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven,” Pastor Jun shared three practical and powerful ways young people can shine for God’s glory.

First, he emphasized the call to arise and shine, urging the youth to respond actively to God’s calling, trusting that the Holy Spirit empowers them to fulfill their purpose. Second, he spoke about transforming one’s life at a young age, noting that transformation is evident in both character and service. He encouraged the youth not to conform to worldly patterns but to renew their minds, echoing the Apostle Paul’s exhortation to discern God’s perfect will. Third, Pastor Jun challenged young people to become overcomers of challenges, citing the story of young David as an example of determination, focus, and strength found in the Lord despite overwhelming obstacles.

He concluded the message with a timely reminder: “Shining for God is not about achieving perfection, but about being a willing vessel so that God’s glory will be seen.”

Following the message, a heartfelt testimony was shared by Dartagnan Eheng, a youth from the host church. He spoke of how God’s grace revived and transformed his life, encouraging fellow youth to open their hearts when the Lord is knocking rather than closing every door. Tithes and offerings followed with the assistance of the music team, after which Pastora Rosana Angiwan prayed over the offering and offered a special prayer for all the young people in attendance.

Before the program concluded, Ms. Kishie Bantiyan delivered important announcements, including the schedule of the Youth Fellowship, which will be held every first Sunday of the month. She also shared that the host church is open to joint fellowships with other churches, further promoting unity among young believers.

The fellowship concluded with a closing song, followed by a closing prayer and food blessing led by Ms. Mae Buenaventura.

As the launch came to an end, the call remains clear: May every young person continue to shine for God’s glory—in church, at home, in school, and in the community. ✨🙌
