Pentecost Sunday 🕊️🔥

Today, we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, the coming of the Holy Spirit
upon the Apostles — the fulfillment of Christ’s promise and the birth of the Church.

Filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles were strengthened to courageously proclaim the Gospel to all nations. This solemnity reminds us that the same Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and renew us in our faith journey.

May the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with wisdom, courage, peace, and love, so that we may become true witnesses of Christ in our homes, community, and the world.

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.” — Acts 2:4

Faithful of Sitio Malipayon, Brgy. Camalobalo came together in faith and thanksgiving as they celebrated the feast of their Patron Saint, San Isidro Labrador, along with the blessing and inauguration of their newly renovated chapel.

The celebration reflected the unity and devotion of the community, with the restored chapel serving as a reminder of their shared faith and cooperation.

Faithful of Sitio Balatong, Barangay Calapi, came together in faith and thanksgiving as they celebrated the feast of their beloved patron saint, San Isidro Labrador. The celebration was marked by a Holy Mass and community fellowship, reflecting the people’s deep devotion, unity, and gratitude for the blessings received throughout the years.

Seminarian Vanjo Serveza officially concluded his pastoral immersion today and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the faithful of Mary Help of Christians, especially to the families who warmly welcomed and cared for him throughout the four weeks of his stay.

He thanked the community for their generosity, prayers, and support that made his immersion meaningful and spiritually enriching.

As he continues his journey towards the priesthood, we offer our prayers and best wishes for his continued strength, wisdom, and perseverance in answering God’s call.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱

Today, we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, when Jesus Christ ascended into heaven after His Resurrection, completing His earthly mission and opening the gates of heaven for us.

Before ascending, Jesus reminded His disciples to continue His mission of spreading the Gospel to all nations. This solemnity calls us to remain faithful witnesses of His love, truth, and mercy in our daily lives.

Though Christ ascended into heaven, He remains with us always through His Word, the Eucharist, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗻!

On this joyous celebration of the Ascension of the Lord, the members of the Parish Social Communication Ministry renewed their commitment after the Post-Communion Prayer, reaffirming their dedication to serve God and His people through communication and evangelization.

Inspired by Christ’s command to “𝙜𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨,” the Social Communication Correspondents pledged to continue spreading truth, hope, and the Good News through faithful and responsible media service.
