Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent.

A sacred season of reflection, repentance, and renewal.

Lent is the 40-day journey leading us closer to Easter. It is a time to return to God with humble hearts, to pray more deeply, love more intentionally, and live more faithfully.

On Ash Wednesday, we receive ashes on our foreheads as a sign of repentance and a reminder of our humanity: “From dust we came, and to dust we shall return.” -Genesis 3:19. The ashes call us to conversion, to turn away from sin and turn back to God.

We fast and practice abstinence not simply to give something up, but to offer a sacrifice of faith. Through self-denial, we learn discipline. Through sacrifice, we grow in gratitude. Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we unite ourselves more closely to Christ.

May this Lenten season renew our hearts and strengthen our commitment to walk in humility, love, and purpose. 🤍✝️

𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙮 “𝙄 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪,” 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 -𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙮, 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙡𝙮.💖💗

Valentine’s Day is more than a celebration of flowers and cards. It is a reminder of the courage and faith of Saint Valentine, who believed that love is sacred and worth defending. In a time when marriage was forbidden by Emperor Claudius II, Saint Valentine chose to honor God’s design for love by secretly uniting couples in marriage. His actions showed that true love is not afraid, not selfish, and not silent.

According to faith, love is more than a feeling — it is a commitment. It is choosing kindness over anger, forgiveness over pride, and sacrifice over selfishness. To love means to serve, to respect, to stay faithful, and to uplift one another even in difficult times. Love reflects God’s heart when it is patient, humble, and pure.

Love can take many forms. It may be romantic love, love for family, or friendship. It may also be shown through service to the Church, kindness to strangers, compassion for the poor, obedience to God, or simply being present for someone who is hurting. Every act of goodness done with sincerity is an expression of love.

In today’s world, where love is often reduced to temporary emotions or material gifts, Saint Valentine’s story calls us back to something deeper. Real love stands firm. It protects. It endures. It acts with courage and compassion.

🎉 Our Children’s Ministry Family Day & Recognition Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of God’s goodness throughout the year. We joyfully honored our children for their dedication and growth in Sunday School, presenting them with well-deserved awards, tokens, and prizes.

The celebration came alive with fun and exciting games where parents happily joined their children, filling the day with cheers, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

Then gathered together as one family to enjoy a lovingly prepared lunch, sharing stories, laughter, and fellowship. It was a truly special day that reminded us of the joy of community, family, and raising our children together in faith.💛🙏

The Religious Sadsad of Navalas in Honor of Señor Sto. Niño

With joyful hearts, our church community came together in a sacred celebration for Señor Sto. Niño.

Led by our youth animators, the faithful danced in praise, followed by a meaningful procession filled with devotion and thanksgiving.
Families, children, and devotees brought their Sto. Niños, dancing in faith and offering their petitions, prayers, and hopes to the Holy Child. Every step, every beat, and every smile was an expression of love and trust in His guidance and blessings.
