The world—especially through movies and Korean dramas—often teaches that women should always be treated with love, honor, and care, making them feel like princesses or queens. While there is truth in treating women kindly, we must remember that Satan is subtle and deceptive, often twisting truth. Therefore, we must always be sober and spiritually discerning.
Yes, women should be treated with love and respect, but a woman should never forget her God-given responsibilities. Biblical womanhood is not about prideful independence or worldly “empowerment” that seeks to compete with or belittle men. Rather, it is about fulfilling the role God has designed according to His Word.
A godly woman is called to be virtuous—to care for the man she loves, to be patient, submissive, diligent, and faithful, as taught in Proverbs 31. Above all, she is to be a woman that feareth the Lord.
It is not an easy task. In a way, you become like a Disney princess indeed:
* Like Cinderella, who faithfully cared for the household.
* Like Belle, who loved learning and treasured books—yet your greatest Book should be the Bible, the Word of God.
* Like Rapunzel, who spent much of her time at home, living quietly and modestly.
Likewise, the task of a man is not easy. A woman is not designed to carry the responsibility God has given to a man. A man labors with sweat, sacrifice, and sleepless nights to provide and lead. Because of this, he needs a faithful and understanding woman by his side.
Living this kind of life requires faith and, above all, charity—the greatest of all, as taught in 1 Corinthians 13.
Finally, brethren, remember that communication is important. Daily meditate upon Philippians 4:8–9 and live according to those things.
Have a wonderful day with Jesus!
