"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others..." — 1 Peter 4:10 📖✨

Our hearts are so full! Today’s children's feeding program was a massive success, spearheaded by the wonderful Sister Pinky Cuachon and supported by the incredible KBC POWER COUPLES.

We are so grateful to the Binobo-Sanchez residence (David's Home) for welcoming us. Seeing the joy on the kids' faces was the greatest reward. To God be the highest glory! 👑❤️

📖 SERMON REFLECTION: BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING (Genesis 12:2) 🙏✨

Have you ever stopped to consider why God pours His goodness into your life? The truth is powerful and life-changing: God blesses you on purpose, for a purpose! Blessing is not a payment for good behavior—it starts entirely with God, who is the source of everything. You cannot give what you don't have, so He fills our cups to overflowing. But remember: God never intended for His blessings to stop with us!

🌊 Are You a Lake or a River?

The Lake: Takes water in and keeps it. Because it doesn't flow, a closed lake eventually becomes stagnant and dies.

The River: Takes water in and passes it on, continuously bringing life wherever it goes.

You are not the lake; you are the river! 🌊 You are not the end-user of God’s blessings; you are the messenger in the middle. If God gave you water, it’s time to unlock the gate and let others drink! Remember, a candle loses absolutely nothing by lighting another candle. 🕯️❤️

🛠️ How to Be a Conduit of God's Grace
Being a channel of blessing doesn't require immense wealth; it requires a willing heart. God calls us to:
• Encourage the discouraged
• Help the needy
• Pray for others
• Share the Gospel
• Show kindness and love

Never underestimate small acts of kindness! God uses small things to create massive impacts. You can bless someone today through a kind word, a simple prayer, your time, your presence, or by offering forgiveness. When we bless others, we perfectly reflect the heart of God—who is inherently loving, generous, and compassionate.

🔎 A Challenge for Self-Examination

As we go through this week, let's look inward and honestly ask ourselves these three questions:

1️⃣ Am I using my blessings for God’s glory?
2️⃣ Am I actively helping others?
3️⃣ Am I becoming a blessing to my family, church, school, workplace, and community?

The Ultimate Truth: Blessing starts with God, flows through you, and proves itself when you give it away. Let’s make this our collective prayer today: "Lord, use me to bless someone today." 🙌 Challenge yourself to intentionally look for someone to bless this week, and watch how beautifully God works through your life!

Citizens of Heaven: Living with Eternal Perspective

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the "small things" of this world when we lose sight of our true home. According to Philippians 3:20, our citizenship isn't defined by where we live now, but by where we belong!

Being a Citizen of Heaven means:

📖 Living by a different Constitution: Our guide is the Word of God, not the trends of the world.

🗣️ Watching our Speech: Our tongue shows our true citizenship. Does your speech reflect the Kingdom?

🛡️ A Secure Identity: You aren't just "getting by"—you are here on a divine assignment.
When life feels unfair, remember: Jesus is coming to make all things right. Don't let the world control your focus. Set your mind on things above and live on the "mountain top of hope!" 🏔️🙌

To all the mothers who pour out their hearts in the quiet, unseen moments: God sees you. Being a mother often means making silent sacrifices—the late nights, the prayers for peace in the home, and the tireless giving even when you feel exhausted. It’s easy to feel like your efforts go unnoticed, but true strength is found in Him. 📖✨

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." — Isaiah 40:29

If you’re feeling weary today, remember:
Your labor is not in vain. God honors every sacrifice made in love.

The harvest is coming. Sowing and reaping are separated by a season, but God’s timing is perfect.
You aren't alone. He sees your faithful heart and provides the strength to keep going.

To the Nanay who keeps giving even when it hurts: Your life is a message of biblical love. Don't give up on your harvest! 🌾🙏

“Ang imong paghilak karun mahimong kalipay puhon.” (Your tears today will become joy someday.)

"As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you." — Isaiah 66:13 🙏

Today, the KBC Kids celebrate the gift of a mother’s love—a reflection of God’s own comfort and grace. Happy Mother’s Day to the women who spend their lives making ours easier. We love you! ✨🕊️

Honoring the Silent Sacrifices 🕊️✨

The KBC Young People wanted to share this powerful story that truly speaks to the heart. While we didn't produce this film ourselves, its message resonates so deeply with our mission to honor and love our parents.

Sometimes, we judge a situation by what’s "missing"—the parent who isn't at the school event or the child who looks a little untidy. But behind those scenes is often a mother working tirelessly, sacrificing her sleep and her presence to ensure her child has a future. 🩺🎒

Let this be a reminder: Love isn't just about being there for the highlights; it’s about the hard work done in the shadows.

Disclaimer: We do not own the rights to this video. Full credit goes to the original owner/creator for this beautiful and moving masterpiece. 🙏

"Faithful in the Little, Faithful in Much: Stewardship Calling" ✨

What has God placed in your hands today? Often, we wait for "more"—more time, more talent, or a bigger platform—before we decide to serve. But true stewardship isn't about the size of the gift; it’s about the heart of the manager.

In our recent sunday topic on Stewardship and Calling, we learned:

📍 We are Managers, not Owners. Everything we have—our time, treasures, and talents—belongs to God. We are simply entrusted to use them for His glory.
📍 Consistency over Visibility. God doesn't just reward the "big" acts; He rewards the faithful, quiet consistency of serving others where you are right now.
📍 Availability > Ability. Don't say "I'm not gifted enough." If God gave it to you, He knows you can handle it. Disagreeing with your gift is disagreeing with the Giver!
Stop giving God the "scraps" of your schedule. Let’s step out of our comfort zones and be faithful stewards of His grace today!
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others..." — 1 Peter 4:10

🌟 UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS AT GBYF CLIQUE 2026! 🌟

Our Katangawan Baptist Church youth recently returned from an incredible three-day journey at GBYF Clique! From April 30 to May 2, we gathered at Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School for a life-changing experience filled with "fun and meaningful fellowship." Between the powerful worship sessions and the late-night laughter, our young people truly grew closer to each other and even closer to God.

We are so proud of our KBC youth for their energy and passion throughout the camp. We’re heading home with more than just our beddings—we’re bringing back renewed hearts and memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s keep that fire for the Lord burning bright as we head back to our daily lives! 🔥🙌

🏃‍♂️ RUN TO FINISH: A Life of Perseverance and Faithfulness 🏁

Life is often called a race, but it’s not a sprint—it’s a marathon of faith. This week, we dove deep into Hebrews 12:1 and what it truly means to finish well.

Whether you’re feeling energized or a bit weary today, remember these three keys to staying the course:

✨ Throw off the extra weight. It’s not just about avoiding "sin," but also letting go of the distractions—busyness, past regrets, and anxiety—that slow us down. Sometimes, saying "Yes" to everything means saying "No" to the best God has for us.

✨ Fix your eyes on the Source. When we look at our problems, we get discouraged. When we look at Christ, we gain strength. He is both the start and the finish line!

✨ Stay Faithful. Faithfulness isn't about perfection; it’s about consistency, reliability, and loyalty to Jesus, even when the road gets steep.
The race is long, and there will be trials, but you are surrounded by a "great cloud of witnesses" cheering you on! Don't give up. Your finish line is Heaven, and the prize is eternal. 🛡️📖

Happy Lord’s Day! 🙌

📖 Sermon: Spiritual Disciplines — Training for Godliness

Today’s message talks about the importance of discipline in our spiritual walk:
Why is discipline necessary?
✨Growth requires effort
✨Protection against sin
✨Strength for service

God calls us to intentional and consistent practices that produce maturity and fruitfulness. Let us stay committed as we grow deeper in Him. 🙌

"My Daddy is a Liar"

A short film presented by the KBC young teens and kids. It is more than just a short film; it's a touching expression of gratitude and love from the younger generation to their fathers. It's an opportunity to celebrate the unsung heroes who guide, protect, and inspire them every day.

We hope this film resonates with all fathers and families, reminding us of the special bond they share.
