AN ORIGINAL COMPOSITION ABOUT THE APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE, OUR FOUNDATION AND OUR HERITAGE
“WE STAND UPON HIS WORDS” is not merely a song. It is a humble declaration of who we are and what we believe. It speaks of the truth that has stood throughout the ages, the doctrine delivered by the apostles, with Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone.
We are more than just the name “Apostolic.” This is more than simply having a Pentecostal experience.
By the grace of God, we stand upon the truth that brings salvation to all.
We do not desire to win arguments about the One True God.
We do not seek to prove ourselves right or exalt ourselves above others.
This has never been about us.
With love and humility, we desire only to share the truth that has transformed our lives.
This is about the ONE TRUE GOD.
This is about HIS WORD.
This is about HIS TRUTH.
This is about JESUS!
Today, we humbly proclaim this truth through song, faithfully sharing the Gospel with love until He comes.
We hold firmly to the truth that never changes. As Apostle Paul declared:
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 1:8 KJV
No matter how the world may see it, no matter how times may change, and no matter what teachings may arise, the truth remains the truth.
God’s Word is forever settled in Heaven.
This is our foundation.
This is our heritage.
This is the Gospel we have received.
This is the truth we will lovingly, humbly, and faithfully uphold and proclaim until Jesus comes.
