MONASTERY ROBBED!

The Monastery of our dear Poor Clare Sisters in Guibang has been looted in the late hours of Easter Sunday. A substantial amount was taken together with some other things. Those resources are vital to the daily operations of the Sacred Institution.

We appeal to all who have the heart like that of our generous Lord for donations for our dear Sisters. They have unwaveringly dedicated their lives in prayer to help us, it is time that we helped them in our own way.

Reflecting on Jesus' sacrifice, we see love's ultimate act. He chose the cross over power, forgiveness over revenge. In a world chasing likes and validation, Jesus showed us the true meaning of giving yourself for others.

How can we live this out today? By choosing kindness over hate, forgiveness over grudges. Jesus' love is stronger than any struggle we're facing. Let's carry that hope and light into our world 🌏

As we walk the Stations of the Cross, we're reminded of Jesus' love and sacrifice. From betrayal to crucifixion, he showed us that love is stronger than pain. Let's reflect on his journey and ask ourselves: how can we carry our own crosses with faith and love today?

𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Washing of the Feet reminds us of Christ’s humility and selfless love. It is also a symbol of the cleansing of our sins and a call for us, especially as youth, to serve others with sincerity and compassion. Just as He humbled Himself to wash the feet of His disciples, we are invited to set aside pride and choose kindness, understanding, and love in our daily lives.

As we witnessed the transfer of the Blessed Sacrament, we were invited into a moment of silence and deeper reflection. It reminds us to stay with the Lord, to be present with Him, and to open our hearts to His grace. In this sacred moment, we are called to remain faithful and to carry His presence with us wherever we go.

We are also reminded to worthily receive the Eucharist in Holy Communion. Our hearts must be clean and free from sin, which we seek through repentance and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. May this Maundy Thursday inspire us to grow in faith, humility, and love as we continue our journey with Him.
