Dakilang Kapistahan ng Kabanal-banalang Katawan at Dugo ng Panginoon

UNANG PAGBASA
Deuteronomio 8, 2-3. 14b-16a

𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐅 LAY MINISTERS, LECTORS AND COMMENTATORS MINISTRY

A sacred and meaningful moment in our community as we celebrate the commissioning and renewal of our Lay Ministers, Lectors and Commentators. This commissioning and renewal remind us that ministry is not just a duty, but a lifelong calling to serve, to love, and to live out the Gospel each day. It is a commitment to be witnesses of Christ not only within the Church, but in every aspect of our lives.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire each one of you as you carry out your mission. And as a community, may we support and uplift one another, growing together in faith, unity, and service to God.

“Here I am, Lord; I come to do Your will.”

THIS SUNDAY, KNEEL BEFORE THE REAL BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST ✨🙏

This Sunday, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Corpus Christi—a sacred celebration honoring the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. More than a symbol or a remembrance, the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. Every Mass becomes a divine encounter where heaven touches earth and Jesus offers Himself completely for us once again.

In a world that constantly seeks temporary satisfaction, Corpus Christi reminds us that only Jesus can truly nourish the hunger of the human heart. In the Blessed Sacrament, Christ remains with us—not distant, not absent, but truly present. He waits for us in every tabernacle, every Mass, and every Eucharistic adoration chapel, inviting us to come close to Him with faith and humility.

This Sunday, kneel before the Eucharist with reverence and gratitude. Bring to Jesus your joys, burdens, fears, wounds, and silent prayers. The same Jesus who healed the sick, forgave sinners, calmed storms, and conquered death is the same Jesus present on the altar at every Holy Mass.

Corpus Christi is also a reminder that receiving the Eucharist should transform the way we live. If we receive the Body of Christ, we are called to become more like Christ—merciful, loving, forgiving, humble, and compassionate toward others.

May this solemnity renew our love for the Holy Eucharist. May we never take the Mass for granted, and may our hearts always long for Jesus truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. Amen. 🙏
