STAY LOYAL TO THE CHURCH GOD HAS GIVEN YOU ❤️⛪
In a world where people easily leave when things become difficult, may we, as Christians, learn the beauty of faithfulness and loyalty.
First of all, be loyal to God. Our ultimate commitment is not to a person, a position, or an organisation it is to the Lord Jesus Christ. When we truly love God, we will also value what He has established for us.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)
Be faithful to the local church where God has placed you. The church is not something we should treat like a place we visit only when everything is convenient. It is a family where we serve, grow, encourage one another, pray together, and labor for souls.
And if God has given you a pastor to shepherd your church, respect, love, pray for, and support your pastor from the heart.Your pastor is not perfect, but neither are we. God has entrusted him with the responsibility of feeding, leading, teaching, and caring for the flock.
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls...”— Hebrews 13:17 (KJV)
Let us not develop the habit of always looking for another church simply because we see something we like better somewhere else. There will always be another church with a different program, a different style, or something that appears more attractive.
But faithfulness is not about finding the perfect church it is about being faithful to God where He has planted you.
Before you consider leaving, ask yourself:
“Am I leaving because God is leading me, or because I am simply looking for something better for myself?”
Let us not be Christians who are constantly searching for another place to belong. Instead, let us be Christians who say:
“This is where God has planted me. I will serve here. I will pray here. I will grow here. I will win souls here. I will support my pastor here. And by the grace of God, I will remain faithful.”
Be loyal. Be faithful. Be committed.
Not because the church is perfect.
Not because the pastor is perfect.
But because
God is worthy of our faithfulness.
“Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”— Revelation 2:10 (KJV)
Stay faithful to God.
Stay faithful to His work.
Stay faithful to your church.
Stay faithful to your pastor.
Stay faithful to the calling God has given you.
Faithfulness is still a testimony.
